Proposal for R12/R13:
RIDICULOUS NUMBER OF REACTORS?

In Late Y170, early Y171 The Hydran Kingdom believed that the combined Kingon and Lyran forces would continue moving forward in a major effort to locate the Lost Colonies, believeing that they would not repeat their earlier mistake of not locating them. To that end the Hydrans drew up a number of mainly defencive ships designed to destroy any Klingon and/or Lyran probes.

One of them was this design which involved rebuilding a damaged Traveler-Class Light Cruiser. A "ridge back" was to be built over the top of the hull, (believed to be the first time the Hydrans used the concept) while similar to the later designs like the Iroquois-Class NCA diffrent systems were used.

It has not been confirmed that this ship was ever built, some of the Lyran counties belived that it did exist others didn't, while the Klingon GRU was convinced the KGB was never able to confirm it. The Kzinti Whiskers believed that it did while the Federation GIA was not convinced they did assign the name Voyager-Class VY for any confirmed sightings.

One flaw of this design was their was no launch tubes for the Stingers all of the fighters were carried is a third bay in the ridge back which did not have room for the tubes.

Some of the features of this design were used on later ships, (the HR+/TR+, MHK/IRQ, etc).
