Well you can throw me in as a free agent. If someone actually wants me bad enough I'll re-up my sfbol subscription. As it stands after the rude jerk I played in RAT29 I seem to have totally lost interest in SFBOL. Its sad really since I really would like to play. I was waiting to see if another RAT was going to start. With a lack of bbs activity and no announcements for RAT30 it looks like the community is strugling.
Not much positive vibes and auras for me to run and cha ching my credit card since I have no other way to pay for a year's subscription.

We all want you Marc.
OK, so that didn't sound quite right...

The community is doing OK Marc. There has been some delay with getting RAT 30 started, but that happens sometimes. I think I speak for everyone when I say we'd be glad to have you back.

Change in Team Philly.
Team Philly: Paul Franz, Alistair Rae, Barry Kirk
I realized that Patrick Doyle is not signed up for SFB but only Federation Commander.
We will submit the ships and the like in the next week. (We haven't discussed ships yet so I want to give plenty of time)

I sent you the roster for Team Yellow Alert, didn't I?
By Peter D Bakija (Bakija) on Friday, February 13, 2009 - 12:49 pm: Edit
I think you did at some point, but I don't know if you sent one that had everyone's e-mails and names and stuff. If you did, my apologies. I probably just overlooked it.

Team Philly info sent. And the Announcement has been set at the top of the topic about how to signup.

I don't think anything has changed since my last message above. As I'll post the initial pools on March 1st, give or take, I'll ask everyone to make sure they send me their team e-mails (i.e. one person send an e-mail with everyone's real name, e-mail, screen name, and ship selection). I have received such an e-mail from:
-Team Car Acrobatic Team
-Team Yellow Alert
-Team Ithaca ('cause that's me)
Special bonus points to Team Australia for sending the e-mail in the exact format I wanted them to. Team Sweden is still a 2 man team, so if someone wants to jump on board, please do. If not, I'll assign someone. If your team name is not listed above, please have someone send me said e-mail.
If you are currently still a rogue, send me an e-mail with your real name, e-mail, screen name, and ship selection so I can put you on a team.

I would be happy to join as free agent...or maybe are there any Crazy Canucks out there ready to start Team Canada!!
By Roger Rardain (Sky_Captain) on Thursday, February 19, 2009 - 05:28 pm: Edit
Check your email, as I sent a Team Email on 16 Feb 2009.
By Roger Rardain (Sky_Captain) on Thursday, February 19, 2009 - 05:32 pm: Edit
I sent it again. Let me know if you get it.
By Peter D Bakija (Bakija) on Thursday, February 19, 2009 - 05:41 pm: Edit
You are totally right. I remember getting Team Death Tongue (who plays the tuba?), but somehow missed getting it in my notes. So yeah, you are totally good. Twice!
Now if I can figure out how to make umlauts...
By Roger Rardain (Sky_Captain) on Thursday, February 19, 2009 - 06:29 pm: Edit
Actually, I had to copy-and-paste into and out of Notepad. I ended up with the "ö".
And I'm on the tuba.

"Special bonus points to Team Australia for sending the e-mail in the exact format I wanted them to."
I'll take a "Get a Wildcard Free" card for our Special Bonus Point thanks. (Just a joke...)

Well, we start next week. All indications are that we currently have enough people for 12 teams, and 1 person left over. So we need at least 2 more people to sign up, so we can have 13 teams (which will be 2 pools of 3 and 1 pool of 4, with the top 8 teams advancing to the single elimination tree).
Anyone want to be the last 2 people?
By Peter D Bakija (Bakija) on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 - 09:01 am: Edit
Wait, I missed Bneus! So we need exactly one player to even out our teams. Someone know someone who can be player 39? Anyone?
By Benoit Rheaume (Bneus) on Thursday, February 26, 2009 - 07:20 pm: Edit
how does this work, what team am i in ..if any??
By Peter D Bakija (Bakija) on Thursday, February 26, 2009 - 07:28 pm: Edit
Well, I kept offering for people to pick up free agents for their teams, and a couple people did that. And I offered for free agents to form their own teams. But none of them have done that yet. So I'll just randomly slap people together and make freelance teams.
But I still need one more person. Anyone? Anyone?
