I am willing to serve as either an in-term race leader or battle force commander to prevent the death of DBoM. In either role I will respect the will of the majority of still active players when it comes to finding long term replacements.

Either or both of us would be happy to help hold it for you as long as necessary.
I think we should try to find a temporary fill in for the overseer, and let a player from DboM or two to run either Ken's spot or pick new races for his position.
I just think if your overseer in one that you should not play in that one. I see no real reason if the person has the time or help from a few other players that it cant be done.
Hopefully we can find a way to get the battles and turn 1 in the Abbotoir done in the next month.
Not sure how any diplomacy thats happened should be resolved. I think we could figure that out over the next month.

Is this normal? Has anyone attemtped to contact Ken or seen him on SFBOL?

Nobody has seen him on SFBOL that i know of.
And the disapearing act ive heard is sort of normal for Ken.
I assume people have tried emailing him and gotten no response also.
I have no problem with ken playing in TAoC, but it looks like he doesn't have the time for either TAoC or Overseeing you guys.
Troy and Peter have expressed interest in his spot, I would welcome both to our campaign but we have only 6 player spots like DBoM.
If we let DBoM fade away, 3-4 players are going to get left with no campaign. I don't think thats a very good solution.
The TAoC players are grateful that you two would be willing to help us out of this situation. I just am curious do you all want to let DBoM fade away, or would some of you wamt to continue it if players and an overseer could be found.

Yes some of us definatly want to play.
I hope we hear from Ken also, but how long do we wait before we give up?
It sounds like Eol would give up his spot to get us started in TAoC. Is that whats going to happen, since the game hasn't started he would get to choose from the available primary choices.
I guess Valonqar will have to decide whats to be done with TAoC.
If we really want to start over we could see if Valonqar would redo the map with more player spots and include all who want to join. That would probably be alot of work and I havn't heard what the other TAoC players besides Peter and Troy want to do.
I think we all just want a functioning campaign that moves forward and generates games for us. I don't want to see a third of the players get left out of the game due to only six player spots being the rule. We have no alternates either, people want to play not be an alternate.
I could submit my spreadsheet now for TAoC's turn 1 but would really like to know who my other neighbor was first. If its going to stay Tholian Hydran, Ill go with what ive got. Just let us know what you plan Valonqar.
