Steve
Wouldn't the second wave be launched not long after first? I would have imagined they had a phased battle plan.
regards
Stacy

Uhm SVC has stated more than once in the X Files that there will not be X Andro's in anything other than the Threat files.

Andros are capable enough. They have the same strengths and weaknesses against X that they do against non-X.
They did manage to reverse engineer the mauler rather quickly so they aren’t totally inept on the R&D side.

Andros could, for that matter, discover a faster way to move in the 150 years it took the first wave to get here and be able launch a second wave 100 years after the first and have it arrive (via the new RTN type technology) only a few years after the first.

Don't necessarily need x-Andros. But some new, bigger/better "home galaxy" Andro ships for X2 would be fun. Same technology, but different size/types of ships, particularly sat ships.

A great cliffhanger for the SFU would be the appearance of a new Andro ship in the last month of recorded history in Fall Y225.

Mike: I've seen the uber andro ships. They look hideous. I'd never play them, unless I got roped into it somehow. I'd really like to see some new type of ship though. I'd still push for a new andro toy though.
Loren: Great idea!!!

"bigger better" doesn't necessarily mean the uber-ships from R5. Note I did say "particularly sat ships", which is where you get the most variety. A few Dominator or Intruder sized variants could be fun, too.

This way lies madness!
Though just for kicks I think it would be funny to see Andro (not-X) reserves try to "flank" the GPs right as the Xorks show up. The result being the Xorks brush the Andros aside and march on toward the GPs. Talk about your pucker factor.
