Hi.

The current ISC CLF is, as the name suggests, based on the CL hull; as is the Fast Blockade Runner, used to make critical supply runs to semi-isolated cantonments.

One thought I had was that the Concordium might make use of the cut-price CW hull as the basis for a CWF conversion in the early Y190s, in order to augment the supply of fast responders kept in their home space (which, had the blockade runners not been built, might have been augmented with more fast light cruisers).

In other words, perhaps a small number of fast war cruisers could be a way to try and cover the anti-Andro fast ship role within the Trusteeship Territory, allowing the five CBRs to be sent on their own missions.

I wouldn't necessarily see a blockade runner variant of a CWF as too viable, however; the kind of long-range missions the current runner would untertake might put too much of a strain on a 'war' hull.
