Well, there's the minor detail of the LDR not existing after the Andros...

Someone's going to resettle the Lyran duchy where the LDR was. Perhaps the LDR will yet return. I'm not holding my breath...

As for X2 Jindos, X0 Jindos are being revised. X1 tech with the existing Jindos was really obnoxious (X0 is bad enough). I would not want to give them X2. But then again, I hate them, so I may be biased...

So call them conjectural. An X2 Orion or X2 LDR might be fun to play.

X2 LDR would be conjectural. Orion players would howl bloody murder if not included.

Since we're just kicking around concepts for the Steve's to mine for actual X2, it's best to assume Orions will get X2 and be done with the debate.

So just what minor races are out there? Who likely survived? Who didn't? What level of technology would they have? How much is just conjecture and how much is good analysis?

In my SFU, the LDR committed a unit to Operation Unity.

Two ex-LDR refugees in the WYN cluster arranged via Cluster Cartel to lease an Orion Light Raider (they officially paid Daven cartel 1 credit each, and got a receipt) to participate in Operation Unity as the LDR ship Rememberance.

The Rememberance was equipped with one Special Sensor and two phaser-1s, and did service in several hunts for Orion bases in the Lesser Magellanic Clouds.

The Lyrans paid the ship and it's captain the compliment of ranking for precedence as the eqivalent of a Counts Flagship in all dispatches, reports and so on.

I like the idea. It doesnt mean there would be an LDR government but i like the flavor of some old LDR being invited to assist in the attack on those who destroyed their homeworlds.
