The idea is a "war production" corner-cut version of the standard Type IF drone. It is built along type VI drone lines, but takes up less space in a drone rack than a normal Type-I.

The ICF drone is technically a 3/4-space drone. The first drone in any rack takes up a full space. The second takes up a half-space. the third takes up a full space and so on.

The ICF drone can be use in a scatterpack but are considered to be 1-space for use in a SP. They do not allow more than 6 drones to be used in a SP.

The ICF can (barely) fit on a 1/2-space drone rail, but slow the fighter as if it were carrying a pod until the drone is launched. A ICF drone fits on a 1-space rail identically to a type I drone. The ICF provides no other form or increased drone carriage to a fighter.

The drone comes prepackaged. It is not modular and cannot be modified in any way. Speed is always F (there were never any S or M versions), warhead: 12, hit points: 4. Cost: 2.0. The ICF does not use ATG and ATG cannot be added.

Endurance is 64 impulses. There is no extended range option.

The ICF Drone is Limited in Y180, Restricted in Y181, General is Y183, assuming I have them in the right order (I get limited and restricted confused sometimes). It counts as .75 spaces of drone for purposes of these rules, allowing a ship to carry and store more drones.

The ICF drone was first deployed by the Kzinti for whom the drone is Limited in Y179, Restricted in Y180, General is Y182.

Published data on drone racks says that this won't work.

The last thing that the game needs is another new drone that complicates the heck out of every drone-using platform.
