I just finished proofing the GC submissions for the next Captain's Logs. We have a couple of choices for ADB to choose from - John wrote up something new, and there are a couple of Conquest Notes (we don't do Tactical Notes!) that may also make the cut.

I have been letting John handle it -- I'm in way over my head at this point. I have RL work stuff (my dept has been cut by a third), marketing stuff (ACTASF and Starline 2500 efforts took a chunk of my spare time), and with Dad's death I've lost at least 24 hours of time a week to travel and dealing with my mother. Add to that what I am supposed to be doing and GC was the lowest priority as it was play, not work or family.

From the outside looking in, it seems you have found your calling with SFB and ADB. Work is good therapy. You do have way more energy than I do.

Ok, we need Galactic Conquest Notes. These are the equivalent of the SFB Term Papers.

We need more people to write up their clever ideas. It can be something that you've had to help new players accomplish. It can be something clever that you've thought of.

I know we have some of the most clever people in the SFU playing this game. We need to show off our knowledge. Let your light shine! And if your paper is selected, you get a nifty addition to your Wall of Honor plaque.

So please, please write things up and submit them!
