I do not understand why the last few turns i have not been able to open the GBX maps, i have downloaded the newest version of cyberboard and still does not help...i have a 64 bit puter, i do not understand about this zip file that keeps unzipping it does not help one bit! i guess like so many others i will have to wait on the gif map from Howard...John can you give us a little extra time on turns until we can get the maps working?

When you save the map it saves it as u5map164.2_gbx.unk . Cyberboard doesn't recognize the "unk" file type. When you save the file rename it as u5map164.2.gbx and it should would fine. With files save already if you change the name from "u5map164.2_gbx.unk" to "u5map164.2.gbx" it should also work.

Start Cyberboard. Then use File->Open to open the file.

Windows and its drag and drool file extension association fails another saving throw.

Well I think one change is to be pointed out...the Vari/Jindarian conflict has been joined by the Qari...I knew the Vari were not able to stand toe to toe with the Jindarian forces... so its the Cowardly Vari AND Qari vrs the Jindarian (and for those who were concerned about the Canadian sq's that were in Jindarian space...they never left Jind space and have not fired as of yet, we are currently running military drills the Canadians were invited into Jindarian space...but i understand your fear of the Jindarian empire.
