Thanks Howard,

I am unable to save the map at work (right click no longer has a SAVE option). Something must have changed since the last time.

I was able to save the .gif version.

By the way, the ISC systems hexes that were mislabled (the three northern most ones) have not been corrected. Not that anyone could invade them this turn, but surely they would be "lost" if they used the map! I'll indicate this (once more) in my next set of orders.

P.S. I'm just stating a fact, not complaining (I do not want to in trouble with the WebMom!)

Yikes, my PS has a word missing. Oh well.

I was able to save the map to my home PC. Perhaps my work PC has more security, etc.

You'll also have to rename the file from (dot)unk to (dot)gbx when you save the map file. Also the cyberboard file needs to be changed to (dot)exe

I was able to use the cyberboard without changeing the file extension to gbx or the exe file. I am also able to look at the gif file, I wonder if I'm missing something by not changing to gbx?

If cyberboard is opening the file, you are missing nothing. Depending upon how one opens it (and other settings on the computer), Cyberboard will be more likely to recognize the file if it is named with a .gbx extension instead of .unk.

The gif file is for those that can't install the software (ex: work computer, or one running a non-Microsoft OS), or just don't want to use Cyberboard for some reason.

I run Cyberboard in a WINE session on Linux, compose my turns in Openoffice (no doubt soon to be Libreoffice), and vi. Some no doubt just write this off to me being an annoying OS elitist, instead of it being proof that once can use cross platform tools to play.
