Guys! Please start actively building teams and e-mailing me the appropriate info! I have heard from, IIRC:

-Bikini Team
-SWA
-Team GJTHTKUYVDJKBGJGHB (the Paul S themed team)
-Team Philly (which I think still needs a guy)
-Team Me and Chris and Andy

I know Team ADB is still in (but no e-mail yet). There might be someone else I'm not remembering currently.

Get those teams put together! And e-mail me the appropriate info based on the posts I put up here.

Team IllinoisAndNorthWest, which doesn't have a name yet, is in. Just formulating the last details before sending in the email.

Well all right!

As of Press Time, I have the following teams existing and mostly organized:

-Orion Bikini Team (Ken, Ron, David Z)

-Team FYPSWWTW (Paul S, Brian, Steve M)

-Team SWA (John R, Dave C, I'm not sure who is #3)

-Team Three Wild and Crazy Guys (Paul F, Barry, Mike K)

-Team Name TBD (Proper, Andy, myself)

-Team Illinois/Whatever is working, but I haven't seen an e-mail yet.

-Team ADB is the same as Illinois.

If someone else thinks they sent me an e-mail with an organized team, send me an e-mail, as I apparently missed it somewhere.

It looks like Lynn is looking for a team (hopefully, someone will pick him up, otherwise, I'll build a team out of stragglers).

On the Maesron front, SVC/ADB very kindly agreed to post the short rules synopsis of Maesron rules on the BBS somewhere (which I'll point to when it is up). It isn't all the nitty gritty rules, and has none of the extra Tachyon Missile building rules (which we don't need anyway), but it is certainly enough to play against them, and probably enough to play as a Maesron, although I suspect that most folks who are playing the Maesron TC have those rules already (I also encourage folks to, ya know, maybe pick up the Omega 1 rulebook--you can get just the rules for 12 bucks, which enables you to play most of the Omeaga TCs available on SFBOL). Maybe we can encourage ADB to put the O1 rulebook onto e23.

Peter if your struggling for a player I can fill but keep in mind I'm in the UK so there is this thing called time difference that might cause complications for people!

By Andy Vancil (Andy) on Saturday, April 27, 2013 - 05:33 pm: Edit

I would like to join in, but I don't have a team.

By Peter D Bakija (Bakija) on Saturday, April 27, 2013 - 06:36 pm: Edit

As noted in the introductory information, if folks could take it upon themselves to gather people and make a team from folks who post looking for teams, that would be excellent.

By Stephen McCann (Moose) on Saturday, April 27, 2013 - 06:47 pm: Edit

It looks like Lynn, Majead, and Andy would make up a team :)

Peter, definitely email Joel the document itself (I think I screwed up and deleted my copy. I was in a hurry to hit the road and it was the last thing I did,)

Remember that Joel's last day is Tuesday so email him, email Leanna.! And if you have to, phone the office or email Jean and she'll call Leanna for you.

By Peter D Bakija (Bakija) on Sunday, April 28, 2013 - 08:21 am: Edit

Ok--thanks! I already sent Joel the document, hopefully he has it already.

By Lynn Hunsaker (Maxspeed) on Sunday, April 28, 2013 - 12:06 pm: Edit

I have contacted Andy and Majead to assemble the winning team so I will let you know Peter . Lynn (MaxSpeed)

By Clayton Krueger (Krieg) on Sunday, April 28, 2013 - 02:23 pm: Edit

Team ADB is comprised of Vendetta, BS and krieg. Not sure who's on team Illinois but its not the same as team ADB.

Ok, so I resolved my web page issues (I found a good freeware WYSIWYG page editor--KompoZer if anyone is looking for such a thing).

A) Paul F, could you change the link above to say World League 2013?

B) Here is something weird. All the information on the World League Rules page I had posted has completely vanished. The page is empty and lists as taking up 0K of memory. All the rest of my old pages are there. But the rules page, which still exists as a link, and if you go click on the link, you go to an empty page, is gone. Which is a drag, as it was all the rules for the tournament. Which I'd like to not have to completely re-write from scratch. Is there any chance that anyone has a archived copy of the World League rules somewhere saved?

By Ken Lin (Old_School) on Sunday, April 28, 2013 - 08:14 pm: Edit

Peter, check your inbox.

By Peter D Bakija (Bakija) on Monday, April 29, 2013 - 07:40 am: Edit

Paul--thanks for fixing the link!

By Paul Franz (Andromedan) on Monday, April 29, 2013 - 08:27 am: Edit

Peter,
No problem.

By Peter D Bakija (Bakija) on Monday, April 29, 2013 - 06:02 pm: Edit

So we did, in fact, get a Maesron Rules Synopsis posted on the BBS:

http://www.starfleetgames.com/sfb/tournament/tourn_down.shtml#SSD

It isn't 100% of the rules, but it is enough to fly against the Maesron (and mostly enough to fly as it). If there is any confusion, shoot me an e-mail.

Thanks to SVC and Joel!
