There is no requirement for doing a 3rd Gen Conversion (other than new playtest ships). But if people want 3rd Gen conversions for the normal ships. I would be happy to add them.

Conversions are a bit of a problem when the original definition is incorrect.
The Rom Snipe B has 2-box warp engines and a 5-box impulse engine.

How should I proceed? Should I make edits in the conversion tool?

I have come across some issues like that as well.
I verified with the paper SSD and then used the conversion tool to do the 3rd Gen correctly.

Of 29 Klingon ships I double checked so far,22 had issues and 7 were ok !
All 22 have been corrected.

Problem with 3rd Gen BATS.

There is no way to edit the SSD within the game. The 3rd Gen SSD has 30 shields, but there's no option to add either of the shield refits, which take the shields to 35 and then 40 respectively. In addition, no matter what race you play there are systems that will not be used, and there's no way to indicate that those systems are dead or dormant. Fore example, I'm setting up a Zin BATS and I don't need Plasma-D or Snare, and there's no way to fix that ahead of time. There's no way to delete security stations. Had I been a non-disrupter empire there's no way to remove DERFACS or UIM. Torps are automatically listed as photons.

Either we need an SSD for each empire, or we need a way of customizing he generic "general" BATS upon laying down the counter.
