I Made a list of players and randomized it. I made a list of ships and randomized it. I plugged in ship 1 with player 1 etc etc.

I checked the NOWANT list and made a couple of adjustments. I made sure that no ships were eliminated by BYE. (at least one of every ship should have a shot at the second round).

I did not care who played who. I did not care about future civil wars. I did not care about ship match-ups.

Before we make the official tree please everyone check callsigns for accuracy. Also, My NOWANT list was sketchy as 15 signed up via e mail and the rest via this BBS, so a mistake could have been made. If I have you in a wrong starting ship please let me know and I will adjust....

If I made any errors such as getting ships auto- eliminated please point it out.

If your match-up is error free, please go ahead and contact your opponent and play your match.

If you are an early out you will have an opportunity to get plugged into one of the six first round BYE slots if you so desire.

If you have trouble playing due to schedule, or have simply lost your mojo, PLEASE LET ME KNOW... AS OPPOSED TO DISAPPEARING FROM THE FACE OF THE EARTH..

My job is to keep things moving and occasionally adjudicate.
I have myself (Droid) in the tree, as I haven't played anything in a while and this is a JFF tourney. No gold rings or bronzed busts or anything. If anyone has an objection to that, let me know and I'll pull out. My pull out game is strong.

I apologize for the lengthy delay in getting thing started. Real life and stuff.

On the upside, you have the GBS vs the ATC. I'm pretty sure all you need to do to win this game is move forward at moderate speeds with weapons armed :-)

Ok.
Trying to set a good example, in playing games, Ken Lin and I have played 4 turns so far. We haven't shied away from the bloods.
Right now we're both beat up, him quite a bit worse. I've lost two Photons, and strangely have all 8 phasers. But my shields are bad, and that may end up being the difference in the end game.
But don't tell Ken I said that. I don't want to give him too much info...
Tentative resumption on Thursday...

Yeah, the shielding is basically the only area where I have an advantage. Andy has 2 phots but I also only have 2 torps (S and F), 31 power to my 28, 5 batts to my 0, 8 P1 to my 3, 2 P3 to my 3, and 3 shutts to my 2. We'll see, it's been an exciting game so far.
