To a degree they are;
Star Fleet Battles: Omega Master Rulebook 2011
Federation Commander: Omega Playtest Rulebook
I don't know when SSDs or Ship Cards will be available, though.

I was thinking more about the ssd books from omega sector
By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Monday, July 17, 2017 - 10:07 am: Edit |
We will get there but not this year. Too many books need updating.
If we release a non updated book the whole line gets trashed in reviews.

Are there any new sfb ebooks coming out

I’d like to see the omega sector books come out on e books
By Shawn Hantke (Shantke) on Thursday, February 01, 2018 - 10:43 pm: Edit |
The Omega MRB is out on eBook and has everything from the five Omega supplements except the SSDs.
As far as I know the only Omega SSD book that is close to the current standards for SSDs is Omega 5: Flotillas. Generally they update SSD books to the current standard with errata, advanced shuttles, more notes and Crawford boxes before they go to eBooks. I am not sure when or if the plan to update them, but I will guess Omega 5 will be the first one.

I would love G3 and G3A in eBook! I know that SFBOL has made a ton of progress towards updating their SSDs, but I am not sure if they have converted enough SSDs yet to meet SVC's criteria before they can be released.

I agree, G3 and G3A would be very handy in digital form (there have been many times I wished I could look at a copy on my phone, to answer a question during my lunch break).
However, I think I recall reading that the master annexes are kind of considered the "keys to the kingdom" and that with the (earlier, too close to real SSDs) data that could be pulled out of SFBOL they were the thing keeping that digital data from killing the paper sales completely.

I would buy the two Marine rulebooks, everything is better in eBook.

Is there a list of sfb books coming out this year

For e books
By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Tuesday, February 06, 2018 - 10:21 am: Edit |
We don't plan books that far out. We usually just think one or two ahead. We pick the next one when we finish the last one.

Just to throw in my .02, I'll add another "G3 would be great" to the mix. I own physical copies of everything (well, almost) and have started playing again recently, and I really would like to be able to prepare for battles in advance, and it seems that SSD books and the Master Ship Chart are both required for proper squadron construction and getting the years right (if there's another way, I'd love to know about it). Things that would be immediate purchases for me would be G3, and also R5-(8 or so) SSD books.

The e-products have really helped me catch up from a lapsed decade. Over the past few weeks, I've picked up:
* the MRB (wow, my original Basic and Advanced stuff was way out of date)
* the seven available MSSBs
* CL 32 through 45
* R10-11
* Y2-3
* X1R
* C3A and C6.
It's a fantastic format, and handy as can be (I can even load them on my phone); thank you!
One tiny recommendation: when building the PDF, you may want to consider changing the page number for the cover to "i"; it will allow the page numbers in Acrobat to match those in the table of contents.
Has SFBOL gotten their SSD situation fixed so that G3 (or G4, given that G3's almost nine years old now) is doable?

Three files for Early Years under new skies,
Seven files for StarShip Books with ship graphics shown,
Eleven files for R-Modules soon to fly,
One file for the MRB on its dark throne;
In the land of Star Fleet where the Battles lie.
One file to rule them all, one file to find them,
One file to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them;
In the land of Star Fleet where the Battles lie.

I would suggest the eMRB instead of Basic and Advanced Missions, several Empires that have TCs are in C1 and C2. The eMRB will cover all of them.

Marc,
I, too, am interested in some of your original print run SFB products. How can we get in touch?
Thanks!
