The "B" designates that the ship has the "power pack refit." Thus a BCB is a Wildcat Battlecruiser with a power pack. The "+" indicates the "plus" refit, increasing the shields and, as the ship has Range 30 disruptors, adding DERFACS. The "p" indicates the phaser refit which upgrades two of the Wildcat's phaser-3s to phaser-1s.

I would like to revise the Archaeo-Tholian force. Based on rule (S8.35), the scout I've already included does NOT count against the Command Rating of the Flagship. As such, it appears I could use a standard DD as the flagship for this group and NOT have to use a cruiser in that role.

If the revision is permitted and acceptable, I would like to revise the group to the composition as follows.
