The year is Y175 in an alternate timeline. The place: somewhere on the shared border of a pair of otherwise hostile nations. A strange small group of ships of unknown origins appears through an anomalous wormhole. Soon they begin raiding planets and outposts, their strange weapons devouring life force fornpower.

It's up to a combined force to stop them.

Knee-jerk thoughts revolve around how difficult it may be for Souldra to stop drones; their shards can't be used for Wild Weasels (IF I remember the rules right) and light DMPs do only one to two points of damage per hit.

Heel Nippers are dangerous to shuttles (and thus, I would expect, to shards) and the Spitfire option for Death Bolts, as an ADD type weapon, can be MOST useful for getting Black Shards off of ships.

Still, ever since Omega One was released, I've had all sorts of Alpha/Omega "Wars" in my kooky, cracked cocoanut, so I'm enthusiastic about this!
