I have a lot of old stuff I could sell once I pull it out of storage. The still shrunk wrap "#2's" that came off the shrink wrap machine are something sentimental that I want to keep. I only have BS, AM, C1, C2, & C3 of the #2's. John Olsen has the first of the Captain's Edition products to come off the machine, we took them after SVC mentioned that he specifically wanted the third of each that came off the machine because that was some type of tradition for him to take the third of each product produced for himself. SVC gave us the idea of taking the #1's & 2's... you'd have to ask SVC why he specifically wanted the #3's, I have always wondered about that.

So I have original print run stuff I could sell, but would have to look through to see what I have. What I think is the coolest thing I have is that John Olsen used to give me everything he wanted to throw away for me to decided if I wanted it or if I wanted to just throw it away. One "defect" I always kept were off/wrong color countersheets. I have a whole 50lbs or so box of Grey Klingons, Pink Romulans, etc, that I would be willing to sell.

Give me a month or two to find and go through it and I will post a list of things I have to sell here in a little while.

The Star Fleet Command: Orion Pirates data file is not relevant to SFU or SFB or ADB. It's something they did for the computer game. If you want service dates go get the F&E Ship Information Tables. The Star Fleet Command: Orion Pirates data file is full of erroneous data and should never be used except for SFC.

Is there a listing available of SFB historical scenarios in order of the SFU chronology? I've found a listing of the historical scenarios in the Player Resources page but the listing doesn't include the SFU date. Before I go through the trouble of associating dates to each scenario I thought I'd ask. Thanks.

Sebastian Palozzi:

The last listing was in Module G3A. A scenario index was done listing the scenarios in rule number order, followed by a listing in historical order from Y066 to Y207.

Perfect, thank you.

Have you considered releasing Module R1 electronically?

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Monday, April 15, 2019 - 02:47 pm: Edit

We plan to release every module electronically. The problem is that if we don't spend a month or two updating any file we upload, we get trashed on reviews and it ruins all of our ratings. So whatever you want you will get, but not today, and not all at once. I'm not sure which product Steve is updating right now but he's always got one working.

Yay! I'll probably re-buy everything in electronic form then!

I'm sure Steve has a lot of irons in the fire. It'll be worth the wait.

Any news on when we may get some new products?

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Saturday, October 03, 2020 - 03:07 pm: Edit

Guressing you mean SFB in ebook form, I think Steve Petrick finished the J revision and we have done half of the art for Tholian MSSB.

Thank you for the update SVC

Petrick says he gave J to Leanna and Jean a week ago. Doubtless they have scheduled it for eRelease. There is an occult method to the sequence of such releases that male minds cannot understand.

lol
Oh I get that all the time!

Module J schedule: I got the two women to explain the eBook schedule to me. (Why I had to be on my knees during this explanation is not known, but they said that is how this works.) Module J 2020 hasn't been released yet because they need a modified cover to do that. Simone has to modify the cover, which means she has to drive to the office to do it. They were waiting until they had several covers for her to do (Module J2020, Battleships Armada, and something else) so that she only has to make one trip per month. (Simone works remotely from 20 miles away due to taking care of her child.) Simone is tentatively scheduled to come in sometime over the next few days. (They insisted that I really didn't need to know which day.) Jean said too many things were not specifically under her control to give a definitive date but sometime this month, probably in the next two weeks.

Funny, that's how it seems to work in my house too.....

Is there a reason Captain's Log 33 is available on Warehouse 23 but not DriveThruRPG? Not that I dislike SJG, but I already have a bunch of ADB stuff on my DTRPG account. At the very least, it isn't indexed so it appears when I search for Captain's Log products.

By Ryan Opel (Ryan) on Sunday, November 08, 2020 - 03:53 pm: Edit

The DTRPG uploads started later. It may have just been missed. Looks like 30-34 aren't up.

A lot of science goes into how fast we can upload products. If you do it all in one day, we get less money and less notice and lots of people who cannot buy everything the first day forget to go back after the credit card cycles.

By Jean Sexton Beddow (Jsexton) on Monday, November 09, 2020 - 10:32 am: Edit

I am working on getting Captain's Log #30 ready for upload to DTRPG this week.

But I want everything in pdf right this instant! ;)

Ditto!!!

Ginger, Shawn - Hmmm, you do realize that this slows new products, right? ... (:D) ...
