Still waiting for the Elf Gunboats ...

Fruitcake Frigates.

These come with twice the armor as a normal WE, on account of the special mass-density of the fruitcake.

I would believe it has no PPTs, as the tanks are reserved for "Copious" amounts of Rum... :)

When ignited, the fruitcake frigates radiate heat, affecting 5he hex the ship is in, plus all six adjoining hexes. Effects are same as a heat zone terrain.

Moves with ship for the duration of the fire.

When the Red Ryder BB gun is fired there is a 1/6 chance the weapon box will be destroyed and the top box of the scanner track must be marked as destroyed as well to reflect shooting your eye out.

When an Orion captain requests a Red Ryder BB gun for his centerline option mount there is a 5/6th chance that the Cartel Lord will shove him out the airlock with his boot shouting "Merry Christmas, Ho, Ho, Ho!"

The Federation rigged a shuttle to shove in maw of the foul Ice Floe Monster. Nicknamed 'the little bar of soap'. The engineer who thought it up said "That'll teach 'em."

All I can say is I wrote a scenario to showcase this year's ship. And Steve liked it!

Definitely need the Fruitcake frigate. North Polars are lacking in size class 4 units. Plus I can hear the tactical officer saying "multiple fruitcakes inbound".

As I recall, the Holiday classic “The Nutcracker” involved a plot between the Mouse King , a young girl and the dreaded magical Nutcracker.

We need an experienced Engineer to build the North Polar Alliance’s secret weapon... the dreaded Nutcracker.

Not sure exactly what it does, but until Further notice, I will remain seated, with my legs crossed.

I nominate my ex-wife to build it.

Folks, keep it clean, please.

Blink blink.

Why, Jean.

What ever do you mean?

Blink, blink.

Perhaps a new area...

Normally, I think of "Multiculturalism" as one of those terms that might lead me to being fed to `Gators, BUT...

What about a nod to Hannukah? A Menorah shaped ship might be interesting, and who knows; maybe someone would be interested in taking a ship called the Dreidel out for a spin. :)

The Festivus fast cruiser. Each energy allocation is preceded by the airing of grievances.

Steve Petrick reminded me that this is the North Polar REPUBLIC, not Alliance. I will fix the header later.

Could the Josers (from Star Fleet Times #18) be involved in a Bacchanal of Helios, eh?

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Friday, November 27, 2020 - 02:13 am: Edit

The Josers will not make a second appearance in SFU.

With everything else going on, I just wanted to remind everyone in the SFU community about this thread; there's a lot of rich humor in it. :)
