I should answer the most common questions:

1. Why are the plasma-Ds restricted to L/R instead of being LS/RS?
Because I didn't want them to be used in a centerline attack.

2. Why don't we have the usual refits for plasma-S, Plasma-D, Sabot, and so forth?
Because I cannot invest a lot of time doing a freebie SSD. When we do the Prax "for real" Steve P will take care of all of that.

3. Why wasn't the AFD/Plas used?

May I respectfully suggest that, because the AFD/Plas is based (mostly) on the standard FRAX AFD (E52.0), perhaps it would be appropriate that the AFD/Plas only be used aboard PRAX in the same way the standard AFD is used aboard Canon FRAX, namely mostly limited to certain carrier escorts, save at higher levels of command competence training?

To clarify, since the Prax are inspired by the Romulans rather than the Gorns, would they be barred from using plasma carronades prior to the onset of first-generation X-technology?

Or, might it be an option to offer an optional carronade "refit", if only to side-step the need for a dedicated "Gorn friend of the Frax" design?

Although, now that I think of it, perhaps the "Gorn Prax" could also swap out the "Romulan Prax" plasma-Ds for L and R arc PLCs (FP14.11)?

Gary, one thing that occured to me is that, whomever it is who programmed a simulator to have the PRAX, they'd be programming them in as an OpForce.

If it were the Romulans, they'd want their command officer trainees to learn how to deal with the Gorn weapons, so I think they'd program their simulators to have the Carronades.
