i remember the frax ISC and canadians asking me for a trade pack. then telling me to go help the hydren with their problem. telling me it was wrong for the hydrens to be attacked by 2 races.and they had my back. as soon as i left to help the hydren they attacked me breaking the none aggression treaties we had.they told the ISC i was attacking the canadians. witch i did not. and told the hydren i was comeing to attack them. instead of coming to help them.

so their word means nothing now.

i talked to the isc and hydren and found out the plot they put into place. the isc was as mad about them lieing to them as i was . but i am still defending and with 3 on one. i am hoping to get some of the border nations to take some of the pressure off. as i will not last much longer.

was holding off the canadians and the fracks but slowly loosing ground. but not the hydern have attacked me and broken the none aggression treaties we just made 2 turns ago and waited for me to move the ships i had to help renforce with the canaians and frax . the they just attacked me.

this is the responce i got when i asked why.

I am really not your enemy Shawn but we all have different victory conditions we have to meet in order to get anywhere. The GM has made it difficult to survive if you just stay complacent.

Don’t take it so hard. Angry people make mistakes, and this is “Galactic CONQUEST”, after all. Nothing personal, just a measurement of “costs-benefit”.

Actually, I had plans drafted up with the ISC and Canad’iens to invade you for quite a while, and, again, the non-aggression treaty did not appear in my treaties section of my QRS, so I did not consider it binding.
I would have given you a formal declaration of war, but I was afraid that you might be one of those speedy types who can wrote 20 pages of orders in half an hour.

Just to set the record straight on Hydran alliances.
The Hydrans have no alliances with any Empire.....so the Mallaran's should speak the truth before they start saying the Hydrans broke their alliance.

When the Galactic Bank is available one can make binding treaties. Well, binding in that there is a financial payment to the victim via funds held in escrow if said treaty is broken.

For now, it is a free-for-all.

If one has played the game of diplomacy, one soon learns that no treaties are binding. Only the current turn's written orders are.

Shawn, I am not your enemy. You have my work I will not cross your border unless it is to assist you. I currently have my own worries here to the north of me. I thought sure they would attack me this turn but they did’nt. The Borak have roughly 75 ship at my border, I’m not sure how many Lyrans there are. I do not have good relationship with the Klingon’s so you’ll have to deal with them directly. I wish you luck.
