1.6 I lost to Jason.
T1 I expected him to play some keep away T1, but he flew toward me and threw me off a bit. I wasn't in a comfortable spot when the turn ended. He was facing away at R6 I believe, and he had no choice but to stop, and I knew that, but still plotted badly.
I ended up getting gutted at R1 mainly because I obliged him by flying up to him.
At least we got it done, and at least it was a good fast paced game.

Short fun game. T1 – I did pretty much my usual thing. I armed 2 stds, 2 overloads, kept 1 ww + 1 ss, 2 in tractor, 18 moves (16/27, 26/rest). I figured I would come up the middle and see what he does. Really, I just wanted to try and keep him on my left side since I have a handy extra p1 this time. My speed change late in the turn should make sure drones aren’t a problem. Ted had 4 standards, 3 in tractor, 8 on his #1, and made a 12/16/19 plot for 15 moves.
Ted launches the scatter pack impulse 3 and tries to recover the shuttle after his speed change to 16. I point out that I think there is a rule that says he can’t do it but couldn’t find the rule myself. I was letting it go- I didn’t really care. He did find the rule however and proceeded to death drag his shuttle (J1.62). Quoting Ted: “You can just say I am an idiot. It would be accurate!”. I hope everyone knows that I would let this go for real. It’s not like I am fighting that sneaky bastard Seth 
He gets his scatterpack drones out front of his ship by turning a couple times. I just kept mostly coming and turn a couple times myself. Late in the turn the SP drones get close but they are spread out in 3 piles. Around 1.25 Ted launches 4 speed 32’s and it looks like we are definitely getting into overload range. I speed change imp 27 to get 1 more move in. I want range 5 if I can get it because I think that is significant internals to him if I roll ok. I am not scared of Kzinti’s shooting back at range 5, like at all. I end up killing 2 SP with 4 p3 which was probably a mistake that I got away with and tractor 2 SP drones. We end the turn at range 5 with me on his #1 and him on my #6. 4 Speeds 32’s are at range 2. I lab them and find 3 t1. I launch 3 drones at his 32’s. We both fire. I roll almost exactly average with 4 ov, 7 p1 for 43. He shoots 2 overloads, 2 stds, and 4 p1 for I think 22. I shoot his brick and he ends up taking a few internals (1 w, 1 p-3).
T2
I am not very worried here. His #1 is down so he is gonna really struggle to catch me if he tries. I put 5 in batteries (I am HETing to make sure my drones hit his 32’s). I put 4 in phasers, 2 in trac, hold the shuttles, and do a 26/19/20 plot. He plots a 24/12 plot and arms disruptors. Imp 1 I launch my suicide at the last speed 32 drone. Imp2 I het away and all the 32’s are gone. He pursues with his #1 down and shoots at range 5. He rolls fairly poorly and didn’t take my shield 4 down. I used my handy extra p1 and did 9 internals. Again, nothing fantastical. Couple phasers and a lot of hull. He graciously conceded here. He wasn’t really hurt but it was going to be a huge hill to climb.

Stimpy & CrashandBurn take a mulligan. After a fun couple of turns, the Wyn came to range 0 on the parked & vulnerable Hydran, who voided his ww & launched a pfc alpha strike despite many incoming seekers, this gutted the Wyn, but we played on due to the seekers on the board, which started wreaking havoc on the hydran. Then we were alerted that the Hydran actually fired ph-1's 2 impulses too early in that alpha, as they were not cycled. Since we were another half turn beyond that point, there was no real way to fix. Given the option of Hydran conceding, or starting the game over, CrashandBurn very graciously allowed for us to restart the game. We will choose another day & time this week.

Don't feel too bad, Jack's a tough customer, and that Shark is tough too. As for the dice .... better get a UIM, or better yet, launch more plasma!
