Paul and I have played 4 turns of our game and will be continuing tomorrow at 1pm eastern.
I am missing my #1 and #5 shields. I am down 5 power, 2 r warp, 2 imp, and 1 APR. I have lost 1 drone rack (since repaired to absorb damage) and 2 p-3s.
Paul has 5 degradation and 11 power in his front panels. he has lost one of his rear panels and has 9 degradation and 5 power in the remaining 3. He has lost 4 warp and both imp. All his hull and cargo are gone as well as his 2 FH p-2s. I also somehow managed to get a bridge and an aux.
We ended turn 4 with him facing A in the upper left corner, with me facing F 22 hexes away in the middle of the map. There are 3 drones chasing him about 6-8 hexes away in two groups.

Moose over Andromedan. Turn 5 I went speed 24 all turn and Paul went 21. His battery situation at this point was precarious. After EA he was down to 1.8 power in his batteries.
As the turn progressed he was able to perform a mini dump from his front panels, leaving his rear panels with 9 degradation and 9 power and sending 7 power to his batteries. As my drones closed he killed two of them with his RS p-2s and turned into the last and took it on his front panels. I kept closing on him as he tried to slip out from me.
Finally I was able to turn and put him on my #2 shield at range 2 with me facing his rear panels. 7 p-1s and 1 p-3 did 31 internals, leaving him with only 5 power, no batteries, and 2 p-2s. Paul conceded at this point.

Moose v Jack finished 7 turns. Both ships have 3 shields down and about 15 internals. Both ships are pretty low on drones. It is still very close and could go either way now.

My disruptor dice performed as usual. I have fired 10 overloads at him, connecting with 4, 3 of those at range 0 where I couldn't miss.

"Jack Dice" is turning into a thing. When you have a bad roll and just yell out, "Jack Dice that Bastard Jack!". You'll feel better blaming it on someone else.

Kingzilla hit with every bolt he fired. To be fair, that was a miracle considering his dice are 2nd worst only to "Jack Dice that Bastard Jack!"

We played a few complex and terrifying turns. Shark has more shields down. ISC doesn't have a PPD after I got it with a hit and run which is insane. I am 4/8 with overload disruptors, of course.

Resuming the game on Sunday at 5p. A nail biter.

Btw-ISC ship sucks. Geof doesn't suck, he is playing great.

Ginger - it sucks cause it is very tough. No ship is harder to defeat in the Shark than the ISC. It is very good.

I was in tournament game (fleet captain) when a "Ballistic Pig" (In those days it was legal to take four plasma-Fs in the WYN AUX'S option mounts, hence "Ballistic Pig") tractored me. Since his facing shield was down (My Alpha strike) I asked him if his tractor was guarded. I never saw anyone turn white so fast. Mind you the hit-and-run failed, but you can bet tractors were guarded from that point on in the Captain's.

I don't think it was guarded. And I can't remember the last time I even tried a hit and run raid. I used 4 batts to overload a disruptor for a separate volley of 8 in an attempt to destroy the PPD. It missed, cause that's what happens. I had 1 battery left and the decision was to tac which would have been good or do a crazy hit and run attempt on the PPD.
