Guy, they are currently putting together the annual championship (Sapphire Crown), which is the 4 people who won the 4 tournaments this year, for a Grand Champion.

They'll certainly start a new Sapphire Crown after that gets started up.

Note: Something seems too be wrong with my E-Mail. I can receive E-mails but do not seem to be sending. I have sent three missives to one person and not heard back. I have sent an E-mail to Paul Franz (day point), but as of yet have not received a reply. I am trying to continue on from that point.

First round is from 2 Sept 2023 to 16 September 2023. Second round is from 17 September 2023 to 7 October 2023.

Any one see any. problems with the above schedule?

I don't know that I've seen anyone commit to ships. I've emailed Steve my ship choice yesterday so it's locked in.

Ron and I are playing tomorrow morning at 11am Central.

Steve, on the timing. Hope to get the first round played and over in the next 2 days. So I'll be done early.

If I win and go onto the second round I may have an issue. I'm going to the face to face Council tourney in NY Sep 21. With travelling there and back from Western Canada I'm going to lose 6 days of the 2 weeks you've allowed. It may get difficult to coordinate the fight by 7-Oct. I'm going to owe my wife some chores when I get back.

If that happens hopefully you can see your way to a short extension if required.

No worry on my needing the extension.

Captain Ron (GBS) defeated my Klingon handily on T4.

Big move, I stopped and tac'd at the start of T3 with a planned speed up later to manuever for position. Ron went 22/11/6/1, so overall he used less power on movement then me, but he controlled timing for the shot and got me good.

Cadet Stimpy HYD versus Kingzilla RKR

T1 launched enveloper and Hyd turned off.
t2 RKR trac hyd amd landed 70 plasma -7 from phaser on Hyd #1 and RKR fire was the HYD # 6 taking the shield down. Range 1 Hyd fired gat 5 p1 and 2 std fus on the RKR # 6. Taking 3 p3/p1 some power and a F torp. Before the trac Hyd landed fighters at range 5 to avoid them getting killed and could not launch again until after trac was released.
T3 RKR landed a phaser fore on down shield and Killed the ftrs but 1 ftr got to fire r2 taking the # 5 down by 12. & Hyd beat up on that shield some more.
T4 Hyd fired OL hell and did 5 int & Hyd took 2 more on the down 1.
At the end of t4 HYD waved the white flag after he was down 4 p1 9 power 2 shuttles 2 ftrs and down #1 & #6. The RKR downish 2 shields 2 p1 & 5 power f torp but had all shuttles.
