We've already seen that the Andromedans have their own "Monitors," but what sorts of things did the Galactic Powers ASSUME the Andromedans would have as Monitors before THEY encountered them?

In short, did the various Galactic Powers come up with simulator designs to help prepare their people for the expected challenge?

Here's the proposal. We know standard (Galactic Powers) Monitors have been described as "Light Cruiser hull with Dreadnought weapons and Freighter engines." With that in mind, I imagined a Conquistador hull, but with the engines WAY reduced (four boxes each for Left Warp and Right Warp, this to match the slow tactical speed of a Galactic Powers Monitor; 13 if using Impulse) and its guns and PAs way beefed up.

The improved armament and PA would almost match a Dominator; four TRH, with two FH and one each LS and RS, and I can also imagine the PAs boosted to TWELVE each for FH and RH arcs.

Phasers could (would?) also be increased, perhaps with an additional two in FH and two RH?

The small hull size would probably prohibit an increase in the size of the Hangar (although the Hangar size of the Missionary does make me even question this ), but it ought to have enough room for a squadron of six MWP and perhaps an E-mod or two?

Anyhow, this is not something meant for the REAL SFU history, but as an intelligence failing (a best guess that might be seen as not unreasonable). Does this seem "Not unreasonable" to y'all?
