I think that is a from a finalized, but yet to be published, F&E countersheet? According to that sheet the Rebel Lyrans are Gold on Purple. I guess we still need a color combo for Rebel Hydrans.

In a previous post I stated that the number of YFF needed for the Y2 Civil War Scenarios was:

Usurper/Rebels: 5 YFF
Patriarch/Loyalists: 4 YFF

However I miscounted in SH257 (the Loyalists actually have 5 YFF in this scenario) and SH250 can actually have up to 6 YFF on either side (depending on which side the undecided Feudal Lords choose to join).

Could we flip a couple more of the new Kzinti counters to YFF so we can have a total of 6 YFF? I feel like we already have a healthy number of YCS, WCA, and WDD counters so we could do without extra counters for 2 of those 3 classes.

Well, I'd say it is easy to change the WCA and YCS into a WDD and YFF, respectively. Since the rebel counters are intended to be a mirror of the standard counters, that would bump the total to five YFF for each.

For the undecided ships, they probably ought to be using some other counters anyway, to differentiate. So, no reason they can't just use the WCA/WDD counters, meaning that there should be enough of each counter types with just the WCA/YCS swap.

If that's what SVC wants to do. I hesitate to overload on YFF, though, thus the inclination to keep the WDD and YFF balanced.

Bumping the total to 5 YFF sounds like a good compromise and would cover SH257.

SH250 is actually a 6 player scenario. The Loyalist and Rebels each start with identical forces (a YCC, YCL and 2 YFF) with the allegiance of the 4 Feudal Lords fleets being known only to their individual players. So I think you're right, the Feudal Lords ought to substitute different counters (each probably from a different empire) so everyone can tell who is who.
