Better double check Geof Clark and Jack Taylor. We talked about what we were playing back in May and the ships we got are not what we talked about. It's possible I picked Hydran accidentally, that was my 2nd choice, but I thought I picked Lyran.

My options are PPPff, HgHBB. I have changed my mind several times during the wait but the last sign up registration was yesterday for this package.

Mr Hardcore I don't think anyone cares if you change your mind on a ship or a package before the tree is posted as long as you got approval from Steve Petrick by email. Once the tree is posted it is unfair to the other players because you see what you are facing. Please send by email a request to Steve Petrick to get his approval for the change and have him post your package. At this point the tree seems to be a little messed up and might need to be redone, so you have a good shot of getting it approved.

Yes, good thinking. I'll send him my confirmation mail. Tnx!
Edit. I notice the confirmation is also cc:ed to rules at starfleetgames.com

Contact your opponent. Arrange a game time. Meet for the game. When someone wins, the loser reports, using the link above (Report Results).

Your opponent is Jason Gray, who has a callsign of The_Hood, I think. Somewhere (although it is admittedly difficult to find currently), there is a way to find your opponent's email on the SFBOL site by callsign.

Jack, better find your registration email to prove you are LYR, and we can get the game scheduled.

I unfortunately deleted my registration months ago when I changed laptops. I didn't think I would need it. I have been practicing Lyran for months. Pretty sure that is the ship.

Jack, that does sound familiar. I also remember you saying you didn’t want to fly something you’d already won a tournament with. What four ships you won in I don't recall:/

I haven't won in Lyran or Hydran. I'll play whichever one I picked. I think it was Lyran.

bakija (GRN) vs Von_Nasty (LYR)
3 turns in.
T1: GRN moves 16/17/31. LYR moves 16/31/26. Ships move up the map, GRN turns left. LYR speeds up to 31 and starts closing faster, announcing an ESG coming up. GRN pitches an enveloper. There is a lot of slipping away, as we play chicken and see who turns first. At about R10, LYR fires 2 standard disruptors at GRN #2. One hits, and is blocked by reinforcement. LYR turns off and cancels the ESG. GRN turns up. We end up at R8, GRN #6 to LYR #5. Both fire 4xP1. LYR does 7 to GRN #6. GRN does 10 to LYR #5. LYR turns off more, GRN makes an error and lets LYR get the other 2 off side P1s on the same shield at R8 for 6 more that sticks. Ships end at about R10 with enveloper closing in.
T2: GRN moves 24/17. LYR moves 26/25/26. LYR runs from enveloper in direction F towards the close West wall. GRN turns in behind the LYR. Right before the LYR has to hit the wall, it fires a couple P3s at the plasma, and turns DIR A. Plasma hits for 16 damage spread around the ship. LYR comes around and turns DIR B, announcing an ESG. GRN turns and slips in, getting to R4 centerlined #1 to LYR #3. GRN launches S+F, fires 6xP1, F bolt. LYR returns fire with 4xP1. GRN P1s roll hot, but bolt misses, doing 26 to the LYR 22 box #3. LYR stops 4 (bttys, probably), takes no in. GRN takes 17 to the #1. Next impulse, GRN HETs away in DIR C, LYR slips away, cancels ESG again. GRN fires 2 more P1 in the hole, but rolls 5, 6, doing 1 internal (a warp). LYR runs from plasma the rest of the turn towards the N wall. GRN just moves in DIR C the rest of the turn. Right at the end of the turn, the LYR slips to take the plasma on the #4, S is fake, takes 1 damage to #4. We end at about 16 hexes.
T3: GRN moves 24 all turn. LYR moves 14/19/20/27 (some of that might have been batteries?). GRN turns dir B to sort of engage LYR, who turns south to dir D. We close a little. We get to R9, LYR accelerates to speed 20, so it'll get R8 unless GRN turns off the next impulse, so GRN launches plasma S from A tube and turns off (DIR C). LYR fails to get to R8, plasma closes in, LYR turns off to DIR E, GRN turns south to DIR D, LYR runs from plasma, accelerating to 27 late. Plasma gets to R1, LYR vaporizes it with 4xP1 and a P3 for 31 damage on 15 warhead. LYR turns back to DIR D. We end at about 16 hexes. LYR fixes a shield box on #3.
At present time, LYR has 1 internal (warp box) and shields along the lines of 27-28-1-20-12-27. GRN has no internals and shields along the lines of 13-30-24-24-24-17. GRN has a potential S torp armed next turn. LYR still has 2 armed ESGs.
Anyone's game at this point. If my F bolt had hit (or my follow up P1's rolled well), I think I'd be in pretty good shape here. But sometimes the bolt misses. And then the follow up P1's roll 5, 6. Wah wah.

Jck Taylor:
Changing your ship to Lyran messes with the tree, but I honestly admit that with the recent imposition of my medical issues I may have missed a message requesting the reassignment. I have therefore approved the change.

Changing your ship to Gorn messes with the tree, but I honestly admit that with the recent imposition of my medical issues I may have misread the assignment (how I could mistake Klingon and Gorn I have no idea). I have therefore approved the change to Gorn, My apologies to you and your opponent.

Carl-Magnus Carlsson:In the period leading up to the tree being posted I received a number of missives from you, so many in fact that they melted into the background and seemed little more than attempts at re-registering when you were already registered. I will assume that you did in the course of these messages list a new set of packages for your Orion. and see if I can find the last e-mail you sent to confirm that set of packages which you are committed to. Those can be used.
