I cannot imagine there is anything to update but if there is feel free to tell me.

The pre-2012 versions of Advanced Missions had a bunch of play aids that were dropped from the updated version. I don’t have any copies of the older AM books at this point, but I may have the specific play aid pages living in my annexes binder - I will check when I get home. If not, someone else will need to try and hunt down what those where, as I think adding them into an updated A+ would be useful.

From the 1991 AM SSD book:

Drone Record Form (There’s a slightly different one in A+ which is designed to be filled out with all the drones a ship has available, while the AM one is more for recording drones as they are launched from multiple units.)
Plasma Torpedo Record Form
Master Player Record-keeping Form
Useful Charts & Tables (An updated version of this is already in A+)

Ah and there are number of play aids that were in the 1992 edition of Module R1 that were not included in the 2023 edition. These are:
Sequence of Play Extract
Terrain Ready-reference Card
Weapon Arming Cycle Summary
Master Weapons Chart
Fighter Record-keeping Form (This is more detailed than the Fighter Tracking Form in A+, allowing for turn by turn tracking of when weapons are fired, impulse launched or landed, etc)
Deck Crew Actions Record Form
EW Ready-reference Card
EW Status Calculation Form

More record forms and more play aids are better!

There may be some appropriate charts that were on the dividers for the original Captain's Rulebook. I will check...

Negative, none are available there.

I think some otems were included on the inside covers of several Captains Logs

Make a list of them and we'll consider including them.

Annex #13 Play Aids in Module G3 still lists the ones no longer present in AM and R1 as being there. It lists the following ones in various Captain’s Logs:

Particle Cannon Record Sheet: Inside Front Cover, CL14
Pseudo Speed Calculation Chart: Inside Front Cover, CL11
Revised Energy Allocation Form: Inside Front Cover, CL16 Speed Change Record Form: Inside Front Cover, CL15 Star Fleet Battles Recruiting Poster: Back Cover, CL12
Tactical Intelligence Reference Card: Front Cover, CL12
Unit Tracking Cards: Inside Back Cover, CL11

I’ll check against my annexes binder when I get home to see if some of these are already in A+ (I’m sure at least the Unit Tracking Cards are).

A couple of suggestions for the Unit Tracking Card play aid:

First, since books aren’t restricted to being specific multiples in number of pages, expand this out to be 5 pages, each being all cards of one type: e.g. page of mine cards, page of shuttle, page of plasma, etc. This will make it much easier for players to make just the cards they need, with out ending with a bunch of, say, mine cards when all they wanted were drones and shuttles (and the day they decide to do a base assault involving mine fields they can run off a stack of the mine page).

Second, either resize them to standard playing card dimensions (2.5” x 3.5”) or provide them in that size in addition to the current. This would let players print them out and sleeve them in clear sleeves for use with erasable markers. This could be taken as far as providing individual files for each card and front back, allowing players to use services for printing custom playing cards to make high quality versions.

Would it be worth updating this product to support the "lost empire" weapons from SFB Module C6, or should those be handled in a separate product instead?

For example: I imagine it might be useful to, say, have an "official" record form on which to keep track of which death bolts in which racks have which particular modifications applied.

Although, if this might be best deferred to, say, the proposed "Module C6R", well and good.
