I would like to propose a "missing" ship to the Seltorian fleet. It is a straight CL-V. It could be called either the CVL or the CLV, whatever makes the most sense.

Basically, it is just the CVS with a single boom. This is an obvious variant with no one getting credit for it. The entire point of this ship is to give the Seltorians a CWV class ship. That's it and the primary justification.

The secondary justification is that the Seltorians have a patrol carrier and a scout carrier based on the CL. It seems silly that they would have have had the base carrier based on the CL, too. Also, they did one boom/two boom variations all the time. This one is just missing and it would be useful to have.

Yeah, it seems strange to me that they have the weird, variant carriers in the CL form, but are somehow missing the base carrier.

And the thing is that they should definitely have this carrier. If they are trying to steal booms to make DNLs and such, they should definitely be shorting the ships that can easily handle such losses, and this ship definitely qualifies. It works just fine with a single boom.

As an aside, we already have the rear hull with two booms. This proposal is asking for the rear hull with just one boom, to make a CL-V. Might as well go and make the rear hull with three booms, for a DNL-V. Make the full set.
