If the ISC are vulnerable to losing their PPDs too easy then how about a PPDL. Basically this is a small single pulse weapon that arms for one point. Two could replace on Pl-G. These would be hit also on drone so they would protect the PPDs like Ph-3 do for the Ph-1.

I-DD could mount them in pairs.

No reduced damage or anything. These are just single pulse PPDs. In all other ways they opperate the same.

I suppose there could be a Overload function that would fire one more pulse for double the power.

I could see a all PPD + 4 PPDL I-CC.
