Is the print on demand tech to the point where we might be able to order (with no fancy covers or such) a book of SSDs that have the various tug+pod combinations? I'm not talking about somehting for retail, but more of a mail order only, handle it if it ain't bound or such type thing.
Of course, I hope this idea doesn't bring booth time for the possible work.

I don't think so yet, the problem is that someone would have to paste the pods onto the Tug SSD and re-calculate the numbers (and add any appropriate weapons charts)
that's quite a bit of work and there are a LOT of combinations

Question: Would you have to make copies of all the various combinations?
Perhaps a booklet (similar to the Booms and Saucers one) with the "most popular" combinations for the major races.
I don't know what ADB's costs for such a product would be, but say you had a 32 page (or a 64 page) booklet available, with 8 races, each race could have 4 different combinations... not necessarily the same types... with 64 SSD's you would have greater ability to produce different types of Tug Pod combos.
(say, if it works out, maybe the special carrier group book could be next!)

Some BTs and CVTs are already published as well as some LBTs and one or two LTVs....

Stewart, Donovans original post (and interpreted by David Lang) seems to be for a selection of tug + pod combinations, and Davids point about calculating the BPV, would be (I think) for those combos not yet published but possible due to the rules.
I'm just not sure how popular such a product would be...

I REALLLLLY LOVE this idea. With the new printer at ADB this SOOOO makes sense!
Screwing with verious pod combos really pisses me off some times (well not that bad but I've chosen NOT to take a tug at times because I didn't feel like hasseling with it).
I'd suggest NO single pod SSDs. It is easy enough to cross out one pod if any added tracks and shields are marked clearly. But various combos would be great!
Some one should make a list of lovable combos and then we can add to it and take some away.
One major one is the BP+Troop pod combo.
Some tugs such as the Klingon Tug-A do well with two power pods. These ships work very well as tough anchors.
CV + Troop is good too.

Troop, Starliner, and pods that affect shields and system tracks are what I was realy thinking about.

Does anyone want to make up a chart and post it here listing the various combinations (with BPV)??
I'd love to see that, if only for the Feds & Klingons.

I wonder what the chances are that Jessica already has one done somewhere in her files...

She may not be following this thread, perhaps if you emailed a request to her directly...

Ahhh, I see, like the Kzinti battle carrier tug for those early carrier lines.
Loren, wouldn't the troop/carrier be more of a landing force tug (fighters replaced with GAS/HTS)?? Hmmm, would the Feds use their V[L]P with 6 fighters for escort (convoy) duty or bombardment (the other six for 2 GAS + 2 HTS, or 4 GAS + 1 HTS)?
What other combos would be likely, scout/carrier (the feds could have 12 heavy fighters with their scout pod!)?
