Note to Staffers: Don't sign up for this. If you have time to playtest something, Petrick needs you working on C5. Once Kenneth's recruits get done, we'll let the staff take the ships around the block a few times before this becomes an Emodule.

Uh . . . a little clarification here.

A MAJOR comment I made was that Kenneth Jones needed to research the rulebooks. I noted a couple of quick examples of some interactions/clarifications that I felt were needed based on just looking at the movement rules (C rules) of Basic Set and his first shield rule, and suggested that Kenneth take the time to leaf through the table of contents of the rulebooks and ask himself for each rule if his rules needed a clarfication or interaction explained.

I by no means went through the whole rulebook table of contents looking for such interactions myself.

I was, at this juncture, honestly expecting that Kenneth would do so, and send me a revised copy of the rules incorporating such an effort.

I did not make such an effort as it seemed from his original submission file in this office that he had not.

So, I am sorry, but I have by no means given Kenneth Jones a blessing on his rules.

I apologize to Kenneth Jones if my response to him was not clear, i.e., that I wanted him to review his rules and resend them to me after thinking about the interactions. That fault is mine.

But I do not consider his rules ready to be sent to playtest as they stood when I saw them, and they really should have been sent to me to be reviewed again after a check against the rulebooks.
