As a side note the Firefly fans http://fireflyfans.net are rabid and mighty. They have done the impossible. Get them interested in your magazine and they can take you far, and the timing is right.

The margaret weis Serenity rpg is out. I have a copy of it. Technically it is for the movie (serenity) and not the tv show (firefly), but of course can be used for both. Fun to look through, lots of background, deckplans of several ships, even has a glossary of chinese swearing...

Some of the Rifts stuff like Phase World, and Anvil Galaxy. Blue Planet, Starwars miniatures and roleplay, Stargate Sg-1. Metamorphosis Alpha, Spacefarers of Cataan,Twilight Imperium and Lunar Rails are some I havn't seen listed yet. Perhaps articles could be solicited for some defunct but fondly remembered games? Like Space Opera, Hard Vaccum, Traveller 2300, Cosmic encounters, Babylon Five wars, and Fleet Action to name a few.

Bill, not yet at least. Part of what was thought about is being filled by the different gaming sites. The RPG part will be done when I get there. And we do a lot with the monthly Hailing Frequencies and Communique.
However, in general, magazine/journal circulation is down and I don't want ADB to lose money in this venture. I also don't want SVC to bite off more than he can chew. I'd file this under "let's see what happens when Jean gets here."

I talked to the wholesales who said that the retailers do not want a magazine as it just advertises games that people buy on line, or games that the store doesn't want to have to stock, so the wholesalers said they wont' carry a magazine and want very much for us to forget the whole idea.
