As Jean has posted elsewhere, we have released the first Kindle book, which is an eBook version of the paperback and PDF anthology FOR THE GLORY OF THE EMPIRE.
Sales are decent, although we're looking for the kind of explosive sales we know will be found outside the gaming market. We haven't seen those yet, but the publicity machine is just starting to roll, and we only have a couple of reviews so far. Until we get more sales data, we cannot decide if we should do further anthologies.
Enthusiasm has already gotten ahold of many people who have suggested that we do this or that or something else with the huge stockpile of fiction. ADB has long said that we'd do a Fed Anthology (probably Day One) and a Romulan one (Day of the Eagle) once we got serious about the book business. The potential contents of those anthologies are obvious and well known. Indeed, ADB recruited, created, and/or edited stories for years just to make sure those anthologies have plenty of material. More than a few have sent lists of potential stories, but then, we created those lists years ago, sometimes years before you guys even saw the stories.
It's also fairly obvious that we could assemble several more anthologies.
Jean has received suggestions that AWAY TEAM LOG might be kindle-ized (a plan we already had well in hand before anyone knew what Away Team Log was). The tricky part there is that one story is in both ATL abd FTGOTE.
Jean has recently resurrected a fairly old idea (going back long before she played SFU games) to take the stories in Nexus and make something out of them (although in all seriousness the 25 or so pages of that material may well be better off split up among other anthologies than assembled into one.
Another idea is to sell individual stories for 99 cents, something for us to look into. Would we sell more copies of five 99 cent stories or one $3.95 book? We do not know, and nobody else does. We may figure out a way to figure it out or try something each way.
So any ideas anyone has for a fiction eBook can be posted here. Most of them will be old ideas we have had for years, but maybe somebody reminds us of a detail we forgot or maybe someone has a truly new idea.
I am known to get really cranky when people try to define a product that we have already defined in-house, such as the half-dozen people who helpfully sent me a list of stories to be included in DAY OF THE EAGLE apparently never realizing that maybe we already had that list in house. I don't mind that (for the reasons above) but in the past there have been people who compiled easily available information into blindingly obvious product idea and then demanded medals, money, or other recognition for their idea (which was our idea years before it was there) so the 99% of people who are just trying to help are surprised when I growl. So I will try not to growl but don't expect to get money or medals for suggesting we assemble this and that into something.

I purchased the Kindle Klingon anthology, and it is well done. The only odd thing was that the first time I opened it it opened to the middle of one of the stories, rather than the beginning or table of contents, but overall very nice.
Personally, I would rather see a $3.95 themed anthology rather than a bunch of individual $.99 stories, in the interest of having fewer "items" in my kindle bookshelf.

I hope I don't annoy with a woolly idea that is more questions than answer. Has there been much fiction about Phil Kosnett, or has his career been mostly covered in scenarios? If not enough stories for his own book, maybe a "Captain's Table" type anthology, combined with Deth O'Kay and Ardak Kumerian (leavened with a few pages of wit & wisdom from "Ask Uncle Ardak") and any designated legendary officer for the Romulans, Gorns, LDR, or Kzinti (Will Gerrard?) with the timeline items relating to their careers as an appendix.
