Official change in the deadline: Friday, October 22, 2010 at 11:59 pm.

By Carl-Magnus Carlsson (Hardcore) on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 - 08:58 am: Edit

You may want to change the date on the Stores order page to avoid confusion.

Carl, thanks for the nudge. Leanna and Joel weren't at work at midnight last night so those changes will have to wait until they get in and have time to work on them.

Signed up... now to actually play SFBOL instead of just FCOL...

Signed up. Now I have to go register a ship. Should be fun, and for a good cause!

Newsflash! New, new deadline for Fight For A Cure.

Leanna won't be in the office on Saturday and she said you folks could have until Sunday 10/24 at 11:59 pm to get your registrations in. Wooohooo! Thanks, Leanna.

11:59 pm tonight (Texas time) is the deadline for entering the Fight For A Cure tournament. The entry fee is only $10 and all of it goes to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. You get the joy of helping a good organization, playing at least a couple of battles, and maybe getting a rated ace card. Top prize is $50 in store credit and a mini painted by Dale McKee. The more, the merrier for the tournament!

Please contribute to the success of the first annual Fight For A Cure tournament and be a part of helping others.

I called SVC at home and he says there's too many folks saying they never got the email to call the sign ups at midnight tonight.

The deadline is extended until Wednesday at 11:59 pm assuming another email goes out on Monday. If it doesn't, then we'll make it at least 48 hours after the email does go out.

In the meantime, please chat this up with the "usual suspects" on SFBOL as well as with friends who might like to play in this charity tournament. We don't want anyone left out.

That means that Bill, Gregg, and Paul will have to wait a bit longer to find out what they are flying as the deadlines for bids is likewise extended until 11:59 pm on Wednesday.

Next year we'll know to start this process in September!

Obviously, that will be updated as the event progresses and some of those playing in the event earn higher versions of the honor bar.

The...uhhh...banner seems a little pixelated?

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Saturday, November 06, 2010 - 06:27 pm: Edit

I wouldn't worry about it. That's just a temporary website thing.

By Jean Sexton (Jsexton) on Saturday, November 06, 2010 - 08:43 pm: Edit

Here's a PDF that is less pixelated:

Still not seeing any reason at all to waste time on that pixelation thing.

Although my dad didn't die of breast cancer (it was brain cancer), I would really like to see ADB do this again.

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Saturday, February 22, 2014 - 05:54 pm: Edit

It was a one time thing and caused enough hassle that we just went back to private checks to charities and called it a day.
