Whoa, 119 for the front runner. I have my work cut out for me then. But since it's more of a long-term project I will keep plugging away at that lead gradually.

At this rate Bill, you and #1 are going to get Police Ships named after you!

It's just too bad that some kind of virus can't be sent to the pirates' computers that would reformat their hard drives or some such thing.
This piracy thing is just ridiculous.

Sadly, Michael, that's "vigilante justice" which becomes tempting when the real justice won't do anything, but vigilante justice is always dangerous. If people could do that, anyone who didn't like my answer to a question about tractors and asteroids could send the same virus here.

I just ordered C3A from e23. I notice that there is no watermark.
When I buy PDFs from rpgnow.com, they watermark the file with my name and the order number. You should definitely ask for it as a new feature on e23!
It isn't DRM and I personally have no issue with it being in my PDFs.
It will make people think twice about uploading, and should help you determine the source if it does get distributed.

E23 doesn't do that and hackers can remove it from drive thru in about a minute and a half.

William and Charles were my inspiration to hunt harder for links. I liked your stars, and getting my own page instead of being buried on a multi-page would be nice too someday.

oh my... speaking of anti piracy... at least one of your demotivational posters is a copyright infringement on "despair.com"
ie.. "Perseverance"
nevermind... minor, minor difference in wording..

Seems to be one of those sites that claims to give away free books and actually infects your computer with a virus.
By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Saturday, December 12, 2020 - 01:25 am: Edit |
Their DMCA links are fake. The same comments are made by the same people about every book they supposedly have. Download from that site at your peril. At best your computer turns into a bot; at worst you have to pay them ransom to unlock your hard drive.
