Jean, a proof-reader question: what is the preferred method for indicating a plural abbreviation?
Specifically, what is the correct way to write this phrase:
1. apply power to the ESG's
2. apply power to the ESGs
3. apply power to the Expanding Sphere Generators
Inquiring minds want to know!

Michael, the first one is wrong. "Apply power to the ESG's catalytic converter" is one ESG and it has one catalytic converter. "ESG's" always implies the ESG "owns" something.
Both of the others are correct. Depending on the audience, you choose what to use. For Federation Commander, we tend to spell out the words. SFB tends to use acronyms.
