Jean said it wasn't fair that you didn't get to talk about these and made me set up a topic.

I'm speechless!

Reminds me of the picture of the early "leaked" version of the 2009 movie ship (which ended up being an April Fools Day prank). It had turreted phasers too.
I'd link to it, but not feeling like being potentially hit with a #8.

No doubt the Worb and Imperium would approve of the concept, but might have other ideas about the execution.
(Just in case anyone was feeling a little parched...)

Jean's request, although I could not figure out how to claok the turrets.

I like the Borak version better. BIG guns on a BIG turrent (especially the one where a Hydran ranger is converted).
How about one of the B-10.... now that would be a battleship

What? no triple or quad turrets?
By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Friday, August 24, 2012 - 04:24 pm: Edit |
I'm in a hurry and not supposed to be doing that stuff at all so I created one turret and just kept using it over and over.

Be careful what you ask for.

These appear to be problematical weapons. One can only fire one or both barrels of each turret at one target at a time.

But just think, if you slew all the weapons on the starboard wing to the outside and the boom turretsto port and then fired simultaneously...
Instant High Energy Turn!
By Garth L. Getgen (Sgt_G) on Friday, August 24, 2012 - 11:47 pm: Edit |
Wouldn't that be a zero-energy turn? Surely you wouldn't need to pay warp power movement to make that turn.

Is that a shuttle catapult?
By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Thursday, August 30, 2012 - 04:28 pm: Edit |

Cool, SFB meets WW2. SFWWB? or BWW2SF?

Seltorian
By Matthew Potter (Neonpico) on Friday, August 31, 2012 - 12:35 pm: Edit |
It seems the Seltorians and ISC would be well-designed for nasty broadsides.. particularly with a little bit of roll, so the other boom can bear.

Wonderful stuff! Love the B10.
Only one thing - the Fed CA's Photons probably should be a quad turret...
