I vote for SFB Supplement #1 and SFB Update #2.

By Shawn Hantke (Shantke) on Friday, July 26, 2013 - 12:31 pm: Edit

Glenn- you get five votes, you can vote for three more ;+)

Battlewagon sold 31 copies.

By Glenn D. Faini (Gdfaini) on Friday, July 26, 2013 - 02:04 pm: Edit

Yes Shawn, but I didn't want to vote for anything I am not committed to buy yet. I won't want to buy Sup #2 or #3 until after I have learned Volume II and Volume III.

I just noticed there is a SFB Supplement #1 Revised TFG. How does that differ from SFB Supplement #1 TFG? Is the Revised the Commander's version? I might need to change my vote to the Revised version.

By Glenn D. Faini (Gdfaini) on Friday, July 26, 2013 - 02:07 pm: Edit

Am curious. If a Supplement is posted to e23, would it just include the rules and SSDs or would the counters be scanned too?

By Shawn Hantke (Shantke) on Friday, July 26, 2013 - 02:46 pm: Edit

Supplement #1 was for Designer's Ed and early R0 Commander's Ed. Supplement #1R was for Commander's Ed R1. Update #1 had pages to convert a R0 rulebook and Supp #1R0 to Revision one. It is unlikely that ADB will upload the R0 Supplement #1, Update #1, the unrevised SSD books 1-3 or the first/early printings of Designer's or Commander's SFB. At least they haven't in the past. All of the old stuff that I scanned included the SSDs and counters for that product. Again as far as I know it will include the counters and SSDs since they have included them in the past.

By Glenn D. Faini (Gdfaini) on Friday, July 26, 2013 - 02:56 pm: Edit

Designer's Ed and Commander's Ed had totally different rulebook organizations. I can't imagine that the same supplement version could work with Designer's and Commander's R0. Sounds like Supplement #1 is for Designer's and Supplement #1 Revised is for Commander's. I'll have to edit my vote.

By Glenn D. Faini (Gdfaini) on Friday, July 26, 2013 - 03:03 pm: Edit

Doesn't look like I can edit my previous vote, so here is my new one:

SFB Update #2 TFG Drones, LDR etc.
SFB Supplement #1 Revised TFG [Commander's Version]

Designer's Supplement #1 is dated 1983.
I think Commander's Supplement #1 Revised is dated 1985.

Anyone who wants the Commander's version of Supplement #1 should vote for the revised version.

By Shawn Hantke (Shantke) on Friday, July 26, 2013 - 03:15 pm: Edit

It is like how Captain's Log #1 was for both versions of SFB and some of the early Nexus magazines were for both versions. It wasn't until later that that the scenarios were renumbered SL1.0 and SN1.0 etc. Supplement #1 had Designer's style half page SSDs and the later version had full page Commander's SSDs. The unrevised Commander's SSD book 1-3 had full page SSDs but they were a different style than the ones first seen in SSD book #4. The revised SSD books all had the same style full page SSDs as the rest of the SSD book series.

By Glenn D. Faini (Gdfaini) on Friday, July 26, 2013 - 03:25 pm: Edit

Thanks. Sounds like I definitely want the revised Supplement #1.

By Mark Steven Hoyle (Markshoyle) on Friday, July 26, 2013 - 07:29 pm: Edit

I don't recall any supplement dealing with Designers Edition --
There was the Expansions, but not supplements that I remember.

By Shawn Hantke (Shantke) on Friday, July 26, 2013 - 07:41 pm: Edit

It was a more a could be used with both Designers or Commanders edition.

By Mark Steven Hoyle (Markshoyle) on Friday, July 26, 2013 - 08:25 pm: Edit

I would think the Revised Supplement came from the issue that SSDs were changed/updated. They continue to progress as new things are added, rules changed.

By Glenn D. Faini (Gdfaini) on Friday, July 26, 2013 - 09:12 pm: Edit

Supplement #1 came out in 1983 and was for Designer's Edition with Expansions #1, #2, and #3. There is one of those in eBay now. It has a picture of the back cover stating this.

It must have been revised around 1985 for Commander's Edition. Supplements #2 and #3 were specifically for Commander's Edition.

Can I vote for Modules C1 and C2? They aren't "very old" but I'd love to see them on e23.

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Monday, August 05, 2013 - 01:37 pm: Edit

No, you can't vote for C1 or C2. Those are current products and must be updated before they can be posted (otherwise we get crucified by bad reviews).

By Glenn D. Faini (Gdfaini) on Friday, August 09, 2013 - 05:28 pm: Edit

If we split our votes between SFB Supplement #1 TFG and SFB Supplement #1 Revised TFG neither will get enough votes to be posted. The former is for Pocket/Designer's Edition, the later is for Commander's Edition, and should have the current alpha-numeric rulebook format.

By Glenn D. Faini (Gdfaini) on Thursday, October 24, 2013 - 06:18 pm: Edit

I'd like to update my vote since I no longer need Update #2.

SFB Supplement #1 TFG
SFB Supplement #2 TFG
SFB Supplement #3 TFG

I already have Supplements #1 and #2, but need the SSDs.

By Dixon Simpkins (Dixsimpkins) on Thursday, October 24, 2013 - 09:07 pm: Edit

Any more love for SFB Supplement #2 ?

By Glenn Hoepfner (Ikabar) on Friday, October 25, 2013 - 06:17 pm: Edit

I've come to the belief that supplemental #anything is obsolete.

It was fun while it lasted, but the rule have changed.

By Glenn D. Faini (Gdfaini) on Saturday, October 26, 2013 - 08:11 pm: Edit

The Supplements are for players using Commander's Edition.

By Glenn D. Faini (Gdfaini) on Monday, December 02, 2013 - 06:19 pm: Edit

Too bad Module G1 isn't on the list. Would rather print one than cut one up.

By Steve Cole (Stevecole) on Monday, December 02, 2013 - 06:48 pm: Edit

G1 was replaced because it was obsolete.

By Loren Knight (Loren) on Monday, December 02, 2013 - 10:31 pm: Edit

If you liked Module G1 then you'll love Module G3 and G3A.
(Although I'm partial to the G2 cover. :) )
