My new Executive VP Albert Beddow convinced me that there had to be a simpler way to make sure everyone knew what was coming up and how long it was taking than answering individual questions by email or on the BBS. ISC MSSB: Steve P reports that this is "done" and waiting for Jean to proofread. I would not expect it before Spring.

Y1: At this time, the countersheet is being reprinted, we aren't updating the rulebooks yet. UPDATE, Jean ordered SPP to do this next, after he finishes K.

MODULE K: Petrick IS updating the rulebooks and SSD books but those updates won't be done for about six week after the counters.

I would expect ORION MSSB in Jan-Feb, ISC MSSB in the spring, MODULE-K25 in Jan-Feb, MODULE-Y125 in Feb-March. Jean has ordered SPP to update Y1 before doing more MSSBs.

Just got an email that the BS and FCKB counters were shipped today. I also found out they will close at the end of the day 19 Dec and not open to the new year. Assuming I can get the next job to them no later than 9 Dec we should still get them before Christmas. That would mean that the Y1 and K counters would put the non-updated versions of those products back in stock before Christmas, but we won't have updated rulebooks until next year.

I just finished the art for R6 and have sent it to the staffer who checks such things.

I am waiting on the quote from the long-run die cutter. We will definitely print SIERRA, VULCAN, INDIGO, and KILO on the long-form, and probably SFB-BS and FC-KB as well. Whether we send Y1, R6, K, and PO to long-run or short-run depends on the quotes. I "think" that the die cutter will give me a batch price running different sheets as one job. The color-paper printer has given me a quote for the overlay sheets that the die cutter will glue and cut, but man, printing 200 copies of Y1+R6+K+PO costs about 85% as much as printing 1000 copies. Even so, die cutting isn't free and if we won't sell 200 in five years I don't see much point in printing 1000. Considering that 400 paper sheet color prints are about $75 more than 200 we might print 400 and put 200 of them into the warehouse "for the time five years from now when somebody else is running ADB).

UPDATE ON PRODUCTS IN PROGRESS

REPRINT OF SFB BASIC SET: done.

REPRINT OF FC KLINGON BORDER: done.

REPRINT OF Y1: We expect to send the counters to reprint sometime within a week or ten days, after which it should take about ten days to get them back here (estimate early Jan). This one is tedious because we're shifting from 216 to 280 (so you get Lyran and Kzinti civil war counters) but even more so because we're shifting to the fancier color icon pictures of ships instead of solid color silhouettes. The rulebooks won't be updated for another month at least.

ORION MASTER STARSHIP BOOK: Steve Petrick (and Steve Cole) are finished. Jean is proofreading and making the fixes as she goes instead of sending a correction list to SPP. She is about 10% of the way through, but remember that this is not her only job, and she has actually made little progress lately. Do not expect this before late January.

F&E CIVIL WARS: Steve Cole is waiting for the staff to send the updated scenarios. The staff asked for some files and he sent them.

NEWSLETTER: This got lost in the medical crisis BUT IS PRIORITY AFTER THE COUNTERS. We're supposed to do it every month but since we don't make any money from it it's not a high priority. Nobody wants us to delay a real product for the newsletter. SVC says he will try to find a Christmas ship and get the newsletter out after he finishes the counters. Leanna decided that the North Polar Ship this year will be the Jingle Bell Carrier.

F&E COUNTER REPRINT: SVC has asked for production quotes from the printer and die cutter and hopes to get this to the printer and back from the printer by sometime in January. This includes Indigo, Sierra, Kilo, and Vulkan. Two or three of those include new counters. WAITING ON QUOTES

SHORT-RUN COUNTER BATCH TWO (this may go to the long-run system): This includes Y1 reprint, Module K reprint, R6 reprint, and Planetary Ops reprint. SVC is finished with the art. We should have these by early year. WAITING ON QUOTES, THIS MAY SWITCH TO LONG RUN.

CAPTAIN'S LOG 55: No work is being done on this right now due to other things in the way, but Steve Petrick is working on an SSD that Alan Trevor requested.

F&E CORE RULEBOOK UPDATE: The staff wants to release this in 2025. All they have to do is send SVC the list of updates. They can start at any time. We do recognize they are also working on CIVIL WARS and doing both at once can slow down both. Maybe next summer?

MODULE K REPRINT: The counter art us done, including the 64 new ones added. They will go to press with the next batch. We should have the counters next year and the revised rulebook and SSD book sometime in the spring.

ISC MSSB: Steve P reports that this is "done" and waiting for Jean to proofread. Do not expect it before late Spring.

GALACTIC CONQUEST RULEBOOK: Jean has it to work on, but has a lot to do and cannot predict a schedule. She hasn't been able to start on it as Orion MSSB has priority.

STARMADA RUMORS OF WARS: SVC sent Daniel half of the needed art on 17 Dec; Daniel asked for it to be resent in other formats for better image quality. Should be done in the first half of next year.
