Jean had her first lesson in doing quality control on miniatures today and personally spotted, alone and without assistance, a Kzinti BC that was defective and threw it (contemptuously) into the melt bucket. (Then later she dug it out and had it mounted on a plaque. Having saved over a thousand ships this was the first one she killed.)
