Randy, due to upload issues, it didn't get up everywhere and so it hasn't been advertised yet.

Terry, it has been out for a bit on W23, but it is new on DTRPG and Wargame Vault.

Just bought the F&E 2k10 rulebook and its great.
However, for the first time ever my credit card details have been stolen and used to make a huge number of purchases (luckily my bank put a stop to it).
I wonder if it is a coincidence with this happening just a few days after my purchase, and being my only online purchase in a while, or whether SJGames have a problem with their security?

If you are concerned about security, w23 takes PayPal.

Jason, when my credit card was used like that, the fraud people told me had probably been stolen six months earlier. Thieves like to let it age so you don't know where it was stolen.
They also told me that restaurants were one of the worst places. The server has it out of sight and it is easy to do a pencil rub and write down the security code.

Yes, Im sure it is a coincidence. Just thought I'd raise it here in case anyone else has encountered it.
Was very strange. The person used it to pay for a $10 cab ride. I would have thought a giant flat screen TV would be the better choice ?!?

The $10 is a test to make sure the card is good.

The other thing I read regarding low charges on a stolen credit card is the strategy of hoping you won't notice it on your credit card statement. Huge charges like $300 or $1000 stand out and are immediately seen as a red flag. But $5 or $10? Much more likely to slip by unnoticed, especially amidst 100 or more other little transactions.

Jason, I have used W23 for years and never had a problem. You might want to scan your device for malware or viruses that can log your keystrokes and send them to thieves. The other best advice against data theft I can give is don't do any transactions or anything important on a wireless link, especially public or unsecured wireless links. Data thieves get a ton of stuff through wireless.
