1. If your awards aren't posted yet, talk to me. They should all be posted except ones issues since Captain's Log #48.

2. If there is a error on your medal page, tell me and I'll fix it. This includes having your name spelled a certain way (e.g., Steve and Stephen are the same guy but one is the preferred name for each individual Steve).

3. If you have a medal listed in Captain's Log which isn't on your medal page, tell me and I'll fix it.

4. If you think you are due something that you obviously are (say, a five-year medal) tell me and I'll fix it.

5. If you think you deserve something you were not awarded let me know and I'll send it to the Medal Review Board.

AWARDS LIST: If you think someone (even yourself) is due an award, email me (do not post it here). Remember that the #1 person responsible for you getting all the awards you have earned is YOU. We do the best we can but we always forget somebody and have to add him in the next issue. Help us eliminate this system failure.

Simone has completed updating the Wall of Honor. Actually, she did that a week ago and I forgot to post this.

Check your page/subpage and see if it's right and let me know. YOU are the one responsible for accuracy, not me.

If you have a spot on a multi-person page and want to get yourself promoted to your own page, you need enough stuff to get there, so get to work earning more medals, honor bars, and campaign ribbons. One way to do this is to earn a General Commendation. While that is a fuzzy thing to describe, you can at least get considered if you have "five points". The following things are worth one point.

1. any medal

2. Any campaign ribbon with a diamond, cross, or star.

3. A ranger pin.

4. five ace pins (limit one point)

5. 10 term papers (limit one point)

N: honor bars don't count for points.

You can only nominate yourself, not others, so if you see someone who has five points, tell HIM not us. If he doesn't care enough to email me himself, I don't need to worry about reviewing his file for a commendation.
