Events: Visitors from Wellington TX dropped by to discuss their experiences with SFB and D&D.

Did some work on ACTA2. Finished the MERCHANTS book and sent it to Leanna and Jean for upload. I did my one-hour gym workout, but my leg is still sore from the torn muscle. I did the THIS WEEK blog and reset the MY DAY file.

Events: brief meeting to review status of five easy pieces.
SVC work: Shapeways (memo on 7000s and my Hawaii trip), Processed proposals (heavy tugs 221, Fed drone pod 36, deckhouse tug 14, battle pod augment 30; total kills 301). We fixed Ryan's last two items clearing the Star Fleet Index (Easy Piece #3) one more time. I did the Squadron half of the ship for communique 164 and had Steve P check it. Did the fleet half and gave it to Steve P to check. Downloaded the last 16 FYEOs from July and found four of them were missing due to the current email enigma. I finally remembered to check the email box and yes, it was full of 8000 spam messages over four months, no wonder my email was sporadic. I found a post from 2002 with several people asking us to do Nazi Star Fleet but nobody had any idea what a Nazi ship looked like. I told them if anyone had an idea we could work with to let me know. Seventeen years later I found the post (three places) and copied it to a locked file as part of BBS cleanup. Jean went nuts over what was nothing but an administrative move regarding military history, but whatever. One hour at the gym and 7000 steps.

SVC work: Shapeways (discussions of ships that missed the deadline). I earned the Fitbit skydiver badge because Fitbit cannot tell a thunderstorm from climbing a ten-story building. ACTA: working through the DOCX problem. (I should have just had Tony send new files in another format, but Leanna is fixing these now so I don't need new ones.)
Proposals board: Romulan disruptors 64, Tholians capture Klingon shipyard 13, recovery boat 19, A5 fighter 3, photon-armed F101 one post, F111 with 12 ADDs 18, FA111 one post, A26 had four posts, F22 had 21 posts, F111 with photon in bay 27, CVS for A10s had 8 posts, F15 carrier 20, BCK 11: total kills about 200. I invented a new way to do proposals at home to keep office time to work on new products. I cleared 15 topics, deleted 400 posts, sent four ships to product files and wrote eleven up for Captain's Log proposals board entries.

After I realized I had forgotten to send Samantha the Communique or the Big News for HF, I cut short my gym workout and returned to the office to send those items to her. I finished the intro chapter to ACTASF2 and sent it to Tony. Dusted off an old Fed Corvette design I had done back in 1982 and gave it to Petrick to consider for R13 as a middle years ship.

SVC work: Told Petrick how to fix the "Firestone index issue" in Ryan's index. Explained to someone why we do not instantly update 20 different SSD books. I processed more proposals into Captain's Log articles, further reducing BBS bloat. I wrote an entire page of "why don't you?" for Captain's Log, but Jean was skeptical without even reading it. That night I read most of Jean's GURPS revision and did a few proposals topics on the BBS. Finished Chapter 3 of ACTASF2.

SVC work: Shapeways team discussing hollow ships and drain holes. ACTASF2 Tony and I discussing web tokens. Still getting 50 starlist spams a day, mostly sexy girls and bitcoin. I finished the first pass of ACTASF2 (about half of chapter 10 is blank and three pages of chapter 11 haven't been done). I sent them to Tony with a list of items to finish this. I sent Samantha everything for Hailing Frequencies. I started on Communique, setting up the file for 165.

SVC work: SHAPEWAYS: approved the revised Cave Lion, approved the two big WYNs. Posted McCammon's 7000 and 2500 proposals and his corvette. Check with Zamboni on web tokens and one of his ships.
ACTASF2: Discussed ACTASF2 page numbers with Tony.
FYEO: downloaded 5 issues I won't have time to read for a month.
Comm-165: Sent Petrick the Vudar DWX to review. Made his fixes and passed the squadron one to Jean to check.
Proposals (BBS Reduction): Processed five summaries into Captain's Log. Moved another one to SSJ3.

SVC work: Early this morning, I cleared 1000 old posts from the BBS. Once at the office, I did Wall updates for Vancil, Trotman, Pollock, Abukoff, Dillman. I worked on ship list for boosters 37-40. Approved Will's battlestations (Fed and Klingon) for immediate release. Petrick came over and we reviewed a bunch of proposals, sending some to the R13 selection pool.
