At this time of typing, there are three major issues that would need to be resolved, in terms of Omega bases.
Firstly, it's noted that, in almost all cases, each Omega empire is going to need their own range of entirely unique base designs, to suit the specific technological and logistical needs - and limitations - of the empire in question. Even in the case of the Federal Republic of Aurora, they have already been shown to diverge from the Alpha Octant "norm" with their pocket battlestation in Module Omega #3, and would likely be expected to continue to do so as their time in the Federation fades further from living memory.
Secondly, in most cases, there is as yet no phaser-4 equivalent written up for larger bases to make use of. Exceptions include the FRA, who use Alpha Octant phaser-4s; and the Qixa Amalgamate, who have rules written up for the mega-gauss cannon (their closest thing to a ph-4).
And thirdly, most Omega empires are lacking the tug and fleet transports needed to deploy and/or upgrade such bases. There are playtest light and heavy tugs for the Mæsron Alliance, plus a range of playtest pods for them, in Captain's Log #21; the Iridani have a Tugboat in Module Omega #3; while most Bolosco ships have at least some sort of tug-and-pod capacity, as well as pods unique to their use, in Module Omega #4.

Personally-speaking, I think it's better to focus on one "legacy" Omega empire's needs at a time for all three of the above, rather than trying to once again spread things too thinly with too many empires at a time.
So, once the Mæsrons (to use perhaps the most pressing example) can be made to function in a Module C6-esque "campaign compatible" format, it could then be possible to shift focus to other individual Omega empires, such as the Trobrin or the FRA.
Not least since, "metal-hull" empires aside, there are going to be a lot of difficult questions to answer for the "biological" Alunda and Branthodons, or for "exotic" factions like the Loriyill or Souldra...

Quick update
F&E CIVIL WARS PRINT RULEBOOK: done and sent to Jean. thanks to the staff for their hard work. The product had not been on my schedule and it used all of the F&E time for the quarter so no work gets done on the boxed rulebook.
MODULE K RULEBOOK; I finished this a while ago but moving it from Petrick's computer to mine to Alberts broke all of the unbreakable links so I have to hunt down all of the art (findfile for each of over 100 images) and email them eleven feet down the hall to Albert.
STAR FLEET MARINES-FIREBASE: I will try to whip up some PDF countersheets for bases and stuff that were requested and turn them into a PDF product next week.
Lots of interruptions for no end of things, doctor appointments and so forth. At least the eye treatments mean Leanna can drive again so I don't spend half of my time as a taxi driver. I lost half of yesterday to one doctor appointment, most of today for a second one, and have another one next tuesday. I counted and I have 14 doctors, incuding the vet who takes care of the Bengal boys. I am going to be forced to take a week off sometime soon to get decompressed and do things around the house.

Re Module K images
We have found that Microsoft Word is an evil, backstabbing, underhand piece of manure when it comes to embedded/linked resources such as images. For example if you set up your resources via relative links, on normal local folders, e.g. document in the base folder and all the images in a subfolder called images, it works fine locally, even when moved to a different parent folder on a different machine. Until you make the mistake of either creating the document plus image set on, or moving it to, a folder that just happens to sync to OneDrive. Word then replaces every carefully entered relative link with an absolute one, linking back to a single copy of the image no-one outside your organisation has a hope in heck of accessing.
This hits our students every time they try to upload their carefully constructed coursework to the examiners. All the links break, becoming inaccessible.
It's not just Windows 11 that is earning Micro$loth justifiable hatred. There are so many other reasons.

Let me see what I can do when I get to the office tomorrow. The problem is that when the techies set up my new email they did not set it up to delete the ones I downloaded so it clogs rather often. I am told there is no way to fix this.
If you had put an email address in your profile I could send you a contact that would work. For now, send it to Jean or Albert and ask them to hand it to me when I get to the office.

Suddenly I am having problems getting to the BBS. I usually have to edit out the "s" to make it work, but now, after literally 27 tries, it just keeps putting the "s" back in and defaulting to a blank screen.

I was having the same issue myself with Firefox. I went to settings -> privacy and security -> DNS over HTTPS then selected "Manage Exceptions" and added "http://www.starfleetgames.com/discus/" then when I went back to the board and removed the s and it actually loaded. It seems to not have any issues since then.

I have found that I can use Chrome if I am willing to give up on the sidebar. For example https://www.starfleetgames.com/discus/messages/board-topics.html loads fine on Chrome.

In Edge, I discovered that if you type in the HTTP address and hit CTRL-Enter, it won't convert it to HTTPS. I was even able to bookmark it.
