I did a bunch of reports and corrections on ACTASFR1. I sent Tony the Juggernauts and WYNs.
I worked on the press releases and product releases that will be triggered by the arrival of the counters.
I did the Federation DE for FCOL. Nobody asked for it but it was on top of the pile.

MONDAY APRIL 12th 2021
I got a ton of reports and emails. I answered them all, and started working through them.
I sent FCOL the first ship on their wish list, the Fed VT, and the second, the Fed DWX, and a monster they were missing (Space Amoeba). Chris confirmed that they had the first 64 cards all done.
I made the fixes to the FC card for the WB10 for the April newsletter. I helped Petrick do the SSD for the WB10. I took Tony’s data and formatted the ACTA roster for the WB10.
I used Tony’s report to add the BRX to ACTASFR1.

TUESDAY APRIL 13th 2021
THE COUNTERS ARRIVED! They look great, correct quantity, perfect alignment.
STAFF MEETING: Discussed countersheets and upcoming releases.
I sent FCOL the next two ships on their wish list, the Fed DWE and DWL.
I made the fixes to the FC card for the WB10. I did a move cost 2+1/2 chart so SPP could do the SFB version. I made Tony’s fixes to the ACTA version. I sent all three ships to Simone to post with the newsletter on Thursday.
I laid out the scenario pages for ACTASFR1 but have yet to fully edit them. Tony has yet to send the monster, the monster scenario, and the civilian ships.

WEDNESDAY APRIL 14th 2021
Module R4J is finished, but we had to struggle to get the color SSD book to work. Leanna finally made it behave and I drove across town to put a zip drive in Jean’s hands.
Leanna got busy uploading the new countersheets to the shopping cart. I helped.
I sent Simone the big news section for the newsletter. I replaced one of the WB10 newsletter freebies to correct two minor errors noticed during yesterday’s staff meeting.
I sent the Klingon WB10 and Fed DNW to FCOL. I also sent them the Frax CWL and got the Gorn BFF ready to send tomorrow and two more ships for the following days. I sent FCOL a replacement for the Klingon BT7 which had two minor mistakes that were caused when I modified the file and deleted two things I should not have. Oops.
I finished the ACTASFR1 scenario section (except for the scenario not send to me yet) and sent it back to Tony.

THURDAY APRIL 15th 2021
I had lunch with Jean and Al; we discussed shapeways, tournaments, R4J, and the next products.
I sent FCOL two ISC ships (one they needed, one they didn’t) and the Gorn BFF. I did some more ships for them for later days. I don’t want to send ships faster than they can do them as backlogged ships get lost and my time is valuable enough that I should not waste it getting weeks ahead (even if doing ships for them is fun). They checked on Distant Kingdoms and said they needed only the WYN Aux (sent) and the two battleships (both, done and sent). They checked on War & Peace and only needed the ISC battleship (done and sent).
I checked Hailing Frequencies and released it, so did SPP and JESB.
I sent a note to Daniel Kast of Stramada regarding Rumors of Wars and the streamlined rules that Zac Belado said he wanted.
I did all of Tony Thomas’s reports on ACTASFR1 Tholians, Orions, Selts, Frax, WYNs, Juggernauts and sent him new PDFs of those chapters. I just need on scenario, one monster, and two civilians to finish this thing.

FRIDAY APRIL 16th 2021
I confirmed that the newsletter went out (and the three WB10 freebies got uploaded) yesterday.
At Gary Carney’s request I created a Federal Imperium logo.
I consulted with Will on the WB10 model and with Petrick on the WB10P and B10P SSDs.
I sent FCOL the boom of the B10 ship card. Since it is easier to do these in batches I did the ones for each day of next week.
Tried (and did not succeed) to take photos of the new counters for the shopping cart.
Sent a note to my partners in the Bariatric support group that we need to restart meetings.
Worked on ACTASFR1, I did every report I have received. I sent Tony a final list of things to be done.

SATURDAY APRIL 17th 2021
FCOL sent another list of needed ships. I sent them the unrequested LDR CC and the requested Klingon RKL, Tholian DDX, Death Probe, and Seltorian DNL. I converted six more ships to JPGs to be ready for them all of next week. I hunted down the other four ships on their wish list and made sure they were handy.
Tony T sent the civilian ships for ACTASFR1.
Created the graphic for the plankholder honor bar. Anyone who can cite a ship listed in the rulebook as his creation can have this honor bar added to their wall, but you only get one so pick your favorite ship (mine was C7). Email Steve Petrick the ship and when he confirms it he will forward it to me to be added to your wall.
Worked on civilian ships for ACTASFR1 and sent the resulting file to Tony.
I figured out I was posting these in the wrong topic and did a bad job of moving them to the right one.

MONDAY APRIL 19th 2021
I sent FCOL the unrequested ship of the day (Tholian PDW). I sent them a replacement RKL since I had mistakenly deleted the FRAME damage and left the Marines. I exported the four ships on their wish list to JPGs and resized them for transmission on later days.
I found the Federation Attack Cruiser unfinished in my FC ship card file, so I finished it and gave it to Steve Petrick for review.
Steve Petrick and I reviewed a request to add ships to R4J and noted that it was simply too late to do that and that the ships didn’t fit the product anyway.
I spent most of the day dealing with a balky internet system and a cranky service provider who insists that it cannot possibly be his fault.
I did some work on ACTASFR1 in the civilian section.

TUESDAY APRIL 20th 2021
Today would have been the birthday of my brother Christopher, who passed away almost two decades ago. Only after his death did I really learn what an extraordinary person he was.
I sent FCOL the unrequested ship of the day (Vari Wing Cruiser), the lost ship of the day (Hydran Pegasus), and a requested ship (Fed FBD). They sent a list of 48 ships that I sent earlier that somehow got lost, the point being that I can send them all right now with zero work on my part. I discussed with them that if they do one ship a day there is no point in me sending three per day let alone 48 lost ships in one batch.
We found out what a Wargame Vault Affiliate is but not why Wargame Vault needs them.
ACTASFR1: Jean sent me the text list of shapeways ships to check against the rosters in ACTASFR1.
1pm board meeting approved Al Beddow’s plan to reorganize the Rangers, a review of the four Kyocera printers (shuffling parts will create two production machines, one office/draft machine, and the fourth will be used for spare parts), and sending a Gary Carney history article to review.
4pm Strategic planning meeting: approved ranger program, Jean handed in the first pages of GK22, we discussed releasing the last four CapLogs 51-54 on PDF stores over the summer.

WEDNESDAY APRIL 21th 2021
I sent FCOL the unrequested ship of the day (Orion CS), the lost ship of the day (energy monster), and a requested ship (Fed FFL). I sent them four re-sized cards that I had sent in the wrong size.
I forgot to mention yesterday that somebody asked for a Lyran PF so I created one and sent it to him. I will put it in a future newsletter for everyone.
ACTASFR1: I made Tony’s fixes, added the FRD, and sent him a new civilian section. I sent him the last page of new rules.
I completed the first ten pages of a proofreading assignment Jean gave me Tuesday.

We met Jean and Al for lunch and discussed some various projects.
I sent FCOL the unrequested ship of the day (Planet Killer 500), the lost ship of the day (Orion BC), and a requested ship (Romulan KD5WR). I sent them a replacement Fed FBD to fix a mistake made years ago in that ship card, and a replacement PK500 due to a file size issue.
I worked on ACTASFR1.

Just before leaving home, I got a phone call that the contractor scheduled to install something next week was on his way right then, so I stayed home to watch him install it.
On Saturday I sent FCOL two lost ships (Rom SeaHawk, Large Q-ship).
Al made some minor changes to the Forum to give it a spiffier look.

I made all of Tony’s fixes to ACTASFR1. All I lack is the monster, the monster scenario, and hand checking the Shapeways ship availability (and telling the sculptors what to do).

Monday APRIL 26th 2021
I sent FCOL two lost ships (Lyran MP, LDR MP).
I Tracked down why the PDF of Combined Ops-2003 we were selling did not match the hard copy, generated a new PDF, and gave it to Leanna to use in future. The few who got the wrong copies will get new ones in a day or two.
I spoke with Colonel Strong regarding plans for StratCon.
I did a ship for FCOL a new way they requested just to see if the new way as going to work.
I formatted the Monster for ACTASFR1 and the scenario for the monster and sent both to Tony.
I wrote a bunch of tholian ship descriptions for Jean to use on Shapeways.

Tuesday APRIL 27th 2021
I sent FCOL an un-requested ship (prime corvette) and a requested one (KF5WR) and a revised one (Fed Scout Fleet scale).
I had several conversations regarding Stratcon.
I worked on ACTASFR1. I got the page count nailed down (120) until it changes again. I got the Shapeways stuff checked through page 80 and gave Jean the printouts. She asked me to send her PDFs so she can use Grammarly to check them.
STRATEGIC DIRECTION MEETING: Also known as a staff meeting. Discussed Stratcon. Discussed ACTASFR1. Jean gave me more deep dive Klingon review pages.

Wednesday APRIL 28th 2021
I sent FCOL the Lyran and LDR versions of the JagdPanther.
ACTASFR1: I did the graphics for the scenarios which was one of the last big things left to be done. I started generating PDFs and sent them to Jean and Tony (rules, scenarios, Gorns, Feds, Klingons, Romulans, Kzintis, Tholians) for the first 80 pages. The ship rosters were also sent to the Shapeways sculptors so they could confirm what ships have been done, are being done, or don’t need to be done. I processed Tony’s reports on the Tarantula rules. I processed Zamboni’s report on which Gorn and Kzinti ships were available or in the works.

Thursday APRIL 29th 2021
I sent FCOL the Lyran CAL and Romulan KC7R. I also send them a secret ship for future development as it will mean implementing new rules which will take time.
I resent the ACTASFR1 Romulans file to the sculptors, Tony, and Jean because yesterday I had accidentally sent them a Roms file in a format they could not open instead of sending the PDF. I did the Shapeways checks and final fixes for the last 40 pages of the book and sent those files to the sculptors, Tony, and Jean.

Friday APRIL 30th 2021
I sent FCOL the ISC CF and CLE.
I worked on final fixes for the ACTASFR1 book, although there are more fixes yet to be sent to me and Jean just started proofreading. Tony send his final reports.
I consulted with the lawyer and insurance company (and Jean) on the COVID waiver for Stratcon Amarillo. We should have something to post next week. We live in interesting times.

Friday night, I added Jessica Orsini’s plankowner bar to her page for the Peladine CA. I made notes for the new NAMESAKE HONOR BAR and created the first one for HOUSE ORSINI.

Monday MAY 3rd 2021
My leg was sore but not blinding pain so I got some work done. I got up early, did the Walmart run (normally done Sunday), and cleaned up the kitchen before leaving for work.
I sent FCOL the Tholian CWE and Hydran NEC. I sent them six special ships for the special project. I also sent them a correction of a card that was printed with an error in 2011.
F&E TACOPS: I updated the rulebook a bit and sent a note to the staff to pick the three scenarios we will include and get busy updating them.
ACTASFR1: I made all of the fixes from Tony’s final report.
GK22: I made Jean’s deep dive corrections to 8 pages and second round corrections to two more.

Happy 50th Birthday to Star Wars!
My leg was sore but not enough to stop me from working.

My leg was a little sore, not bad even after I did my morning one mile walk.
I sent FCOL the Fed NEC and Kzinti MEC. The gang there recruited another guy to do files (a guy who used to do them and had a bunch of them done but never submitted).
