Happy Christmas to you all. May you have peace, love, and joy.

Wolf adds that he hopes you have all the food you need, lots of toys to play with, a safe place to walk, and a nice place to sleep.

With love,

Jean, Al, and Wolf

Merry Christmas Jean! Hugs to you Al and Wolf (the fierce) Looking forward to the coming year seeing all of you again.

Merry Christmas to all of the ADB family!

I shall have a cyber present for all of you soon.

As of this moment, all of the paid orders are shipped! All bills have been paid (lacking only payroll).

I will be in and out for the next two days. Al's heart has been misbehaving recently, so he's getting a pacemaker on Thursday. That should make sure we have a long life together.

By Jeff Anderson (Jga) on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 - 07:27 pm: Edit

Wishing Al a quick and full recovery.

My father is three years in on a projected five year run with his first pacemaker and it's been running perfectly; the technology is well established, mature, and pretty darned near 100% reliable, so it should make sure the two of you enjoy a long, happy marriage. :)

Happy New Year, everyone. (We all thought 2021 would be better than 2020. We were all disappointed. The fates had better not disappoint me again.)

Al came out of surgery okay. His shoulder hurts like bloody blue blazes, but we should be together for New Year's Eve.

By Steven Wagner (Waggs) on Friday, December 31, 2021 - 10:16 am: Edit

Good news! Hope Al heals recovers quickly. Happy New Year to everyone!

I want 2022 to be the good year after two bad years. 2021 made 2020 look like a pathetic prequel.

By Jeff Anderson (Jga) on Saturday, January 01, 2022 - 01:26 am: Edit

I've been directed to relay a communique to 2022. Ambassador "Cat-Who-Waits" (CL#19) says that, "... To repeat 2020 or 2021 is NOT acceptable!"

(Please be mindful of the Ambassadors reputation)

As 2021 recedes into history and 2022 comes into focus:

To all those who have had things to enjoy over this past year, I wish you congratulations.

To all those who have experienced hardships over this past year, you have my condolences.

To all those who have overcome obstacles over this past year, you have my admiration.

To all those who have things to look forward to next year, I wish you happiness and joy.

And to all those who have work to do and challenges to overcome in the year ahead, I wish you good luck and good hunting.

Wolf wants me to post his advice for the coming year.

Play with your toys. Enjoy the outdoors. Chase the dream of a caught squirrel. Eat the treats, but make sure you eat some food. Sleep. Spend time with your people. Be nice to people. And try not to bark unless it is absolutely necessary.

And Al, Wolf, and I hope you have a happy year in 2022.

Good advice

By Jean Sexton Beddow (Jsexton) on Saturday, January 15, 2022 - 11:31 am: Edit

Catching you all up. Al's shoulder is still sore, but he has been cleared to drive. This is good because my surgery for breast cancer has been set for Wednesday. I will be out at least a week; Al is supposed to stay with me on Wednesday and Thursday.

However, Al has been training on how to do orders, so he should be able to handle those while I am out. I should be able to come in for short times starting on the 26th, enough to handle bills and any orders that are challenging.

And yes, I am more than a bit nervous about the surgery. I know that I will also have to have radiation -- that part hasn't been discussed yet. But I know that I am not alone. And as you have done in the past, I know that you will be sending your love and support, too. So I will get through this.

By Ted Fay (Catwhoeatsphoto) on Saturday, January 15, 2022 - 01:12 pm: Edit

Jean, you can do this. You will come out stronger on the other side. Praying for you!

By Mark Hutton (Trynda1701) on Sunday, January 16, 2022 - 08:42 am: Edit

Sorry to hear about Mum, Jean. :(

As for your surgery, stay strong and positive, you have Al by your side, and the support of the board here as well.
:) :) :) :)
