The pathology report is in. The lymph nodes show no sign of cancer. However, there were some cells in the breast tissue that put me at a higher risk of cancer in the future.

I will beat this mess.

On Friday, I learned that my radiation therapy starts on Monday, the 28th.

What that means is for three weeks, I will have radiation treatment for 20 minutes, Monday through Friday.

It may affect how quickly we get things shipped to you. Mike and I try very hard to have all orders placed by Friday morning out no later than Friday afternoon. It may mean that Thursday and Friday orders are shipped on Monday instead.

I am so sorry. I will try to get orders out by Friday, but cannot promise it.

I'd recommend you prioritize your medical care first. You may need time to rest, for example, in order for your treatment to be maximally effective.

I for one, if I were to place an order and there needed to be a little more time to process it -- I'm 100% fine with that!

I can't really help you any other way. I'm a couple of thousand miles away and I don't know how to practice medicine. But I can be a little patient, understanding, and compassionate. I can do that.

As of Friday, I have finished radiation therapy. No glowing. No turning purple when I have to invoke WebMom. I am so disappointed.

My "sunburn" should get worse for a bit more. I may have less energy for a couple more weeks. Then it will take another month to heal, they think.

I am so thankful for your support and understanding. You may never know how much you have meant to me for the last year, especially during the last few months.
