Longstanding issue: Chrome you have to go to site settings and tell it to allow insecure content to see the messages.

I wondered if maybe the spam attack was so intense it hindered normal usage of the post function.

thanks, that may solve my problem at home, I will try it when I get there.

That fixed it, thanks

I could use some advice. I have for over two weeks intermittently been unable to post on the message board. I type messages and password as usual, but when i override the varning, about sending messages over unsecure communication, i eventually get a connection-timed-out error message.

It is weird, I haven't yet been able figure out where the problem lies.

Hey Jean,

You don't suppose that there are any remaining black counters left over from the old Prototype Kits, are there?

By Jean Sexton Beddow (Jsexton) on Friday, June 06, 2025 - 10:22 pm: Edit

Nope,

By Daniel Glenn Knipfer (Dgknipfer) on Saturday, June 07, 2025 - 08:42 pm: Edit

Yeah. That's what I thought. And I spend a little time searching the web for other sources of blank counters. Even found the same layout of black half inch counters ADB uses; but everybody is sold out at the moment. Everybody!

I was kind of floored by the idea that every company that had full sheet 1/2 inch blank counters for sale was sold out of them. I knew I should have bought 4 packs instead of 2 way back in the day.

Thanks for checking.

Look here for blank counters:

https://shop.decisiongames.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=GS003&CartID=0

I've bought many time from Decision Games.

So I am putting together a group order of items from ADB for the members of Battlegroup Toronto. A question has come up regarding the revised Module R6. Does this module come with the old countersheet with 216 counters, or the revised countersheet with 280 counters? The description states it comes with 216 counters, i.e. the old sheet, but it is unclear if this is actually the case, or some old verbiage that has yet to be revised.

Does anyone have a PHP script that can delete all posts made by a single user? I don't really want to delete all of them one-by-one.

Also, can we delete the user and ban the IP, please? It isn't worth me trying to manually follow behind what is obviously an automated script.

By Mike West (Mjwest) on Sunday, July 13, 2025 - 05:11 pm: Edit

As a further note, I'm not deleting the posts at the moment because it is posting faster than I can delete. When the user and IP are banned, I can start the cleanup.

By Mike West (Mjwest) on Sunday, July 13, 2025 - 05:14 pm: Edit

OK, on second thought, I am not going to delete the posts at all. There is an option in the Admin screen to delete all posts by a user. I am not an Admin, only a Moderator. So, one of the Admin users (Jean and Al, I assume) needs to go in and delete all of the posts by the "yazu" user. Then delete the user.

This is now an Administrator issue, not a Moderator issue.

EDIT: And for the record, the user is still posting. They will continue to post until the account is deleted and I can do nothing to stop it.

IP is banned. I am starting from the beginning and deleting posts.

Was any one brave enough to click on 'yazu's like? I was not.

The links were to Russian registered sites.

Unfortunately, it appears that this version of PHP doesn't have a mass delete feature. Back to deleting things.

I have also blocked the user from using PMs.
