Federation Commander uses a different dating system than Star Fleet Battles under which 2575 is the same as Y175.

Steve,

I'm trying to build interest / participation throughout our local group and across other social media platforms. And I hope it bears fruit and more people submit.

If however; the submitted count remains at 3, I'm willing to submit a second force and do two articles... or, you can pit my OGA squadron against both opponents and I'll still write two tactics articles.

I will submit a force. However, I like to wait until the end so I can pick a left-over empire and maximize everyone else's options. So, please just assume my unnamed force will be submitted. I even have a "panic force" ready if I forget.

I will be dividing people and matching up.

The "Heads up" is that the Scenario is a variant of (SL33.0) THE DILITHIUM CRYSTAL ASTEROID.

Three Battle Groups will matched (there will thus be two "battles").

NO ALLIANCES.

Further, there will a time limit of 15 turns, after which the asteroid will immolate itself (The empires were told of the asteroid's existence by people who were already mining it, and their mining operation was an ecological catastrophe destabilizing the rock, which they knew and that was why they sold your empire the information on its location, not mentioning that they sold it to other empires).

NOTE: Ships cannot land on or dock to the asteroid, but shuttles can. There is no "ground combat" on the asteroid (no combat at all on the asteroid).
