We got all 16 SSDs, all ship descriptions, and the MSC put in Jean's Monday Stack.

We are 62% complete.

We now have

95 pages are reasonably complete and in proofreading
42 pages have finished first round proofreading/fixing
24 pages have finished second round proof/fix.

Around 19 pages do not exist as a draft. These are:

1 awards page (There is a draft but there is enough that I count one page drafted and one page yet to be drafted)

1 page is all of Paul F's stuff and I'm not worried about it coming in.

3 pages for Starmada, not really worried.

3 or 4 pages for FC scenarios I haven't written yet including the darwin battle and the dilithium battle and the gunboat one.

Table of contents needs page numbers.
Story is at proof-1 and half of it is in check-changes. I need to space it out and order the art.
Four shapshots 2 are done, one waits fixes, and half of the last one has to be replaced by something John Sickels sent and I lost so he needs to send again.

The whole COMMO section is done except for the last awards, page numbers cross references, and the artist list which cannot be done until the end.

Fed Comm is done except for me writing the new scenarios.

There are a stack of SFB scenarios which I haven't yet sorted through to pick the winners.

SFB tactics are all there but I haven't even tried to read BATTLE GROUPS yet since anything involving 10 authors is 10 times as hard to edit.

SFB database lacks Jean's monster Steve P hasn't finished yet (he said it would "take all week") and Anarchist.

Venues lacks one page i have't done and a few bits and pieces outsiders need to do.

Call to arms is done except for Jean checking changes to the scenario.

F&E needs me to do a lot of things I was saving for dessert.

Shipard: the 16 SFB ships are done, the four FC gunboats need fixing, the two ACTA ships are done, the two STarmada ships aren't here yet, and I haven't done the last two big FC ships.

Mostly today I fixed pages and inserted art rather than create pages.

The plan is

Tuesday I will edit the SFB battlegroups and give them to Jean.

Wednesday I will write the FedComm scenarios for Darwin, dilithium asteroid, and gunboats.

Thursday I do the F&E stuff including the scenario, balance factors, and the news/marketing bit and maybe one why question. We will be announcing two imminent new products (as in coming out this year) when the issue goes to press (major products, counters, rules, scenarios).

Friday I do the FC ships.

Saturday I play PLANETBASE all day.

We are up to 42 finished pages (some of those lack term paper ranks or page number cross references or art). This is 66.38 percent complete.

We have four clipboards on the conference table.

FINISHED is the last one, like I said, 42 pages there. The first think I do each morning is to take the new ones and enter them into the grid and post the page count.

CHECK CHANGES: When Jean marks up something and I fix it, I put the mark up and the new page here. First thing every morning, she clears this clipboard, moving some to FINISHED but sadly sending others back to CORRECTIONS.

CORRECTIONS: These are pages Jean proofread and marked all over. My second job each day is to make the corrections and put the markups and corrected pages in CHECK.

PROOFREAD: These are pages that Petrick and the staff have finished and are ready for Jean to proofread. She spends much of her day on this pile, moving the marked up pages to CORRECTIONS as she goes along.

This morning I got to work without enough time to start today's big project (FC scenarios) so I used the hour I had to knock out Rangers and Anarchist, clearing those two items off of the chart. After lunch and before an appointment, I got the PD planet survey moved forward to where Jean can fill in the blanks. Right now I have half an hour before leaving for another appointment so I guess I will take a shot at the first FC Scenario.
